22.01.2022 Our very happy (and tired!) Year 6 kids arrived home from camp this afternoon. They enjoyed a day at Symbio Zoo today after their stay at The Tops. Such a happy group of kids that have made some wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

20.01.2022 There were tense scenes at the final round of our Stage 3 ‘Number Crunchers’ competition today! The competition consisted of a Number Crunchers Quiz, a ‘Pi’ competition, and the most popular Rubik’s Cube competition. Our students twisted and flipped their Rubik’s Cubes with mind boggling speed today!... Well done to all competitors and congratulations to the winners on their list impressive mathematical skills! 20.01.2022 This afternoon our school captains Nela and Angus represented Bowral Public School at the annual Mary Poppins statue turning ceremony in Bowral. The special ceremony takes place on the Spring Equinox to celebrate the changing of the seasons. Year 6 students from primary schools in Bowral take turns at turning the wheel of the statue so Mary Poppins turns from east to west.
19.01.2022 This morning our Year 5 girl candidates for 2021 School Leaders presented their election speeches to the school. All of them are to be commended on their excellent preparation and delivery of their speeches! Students from Years 3-6 and teachers have now voted and the successful candidates will be announced at the Stage 3 Presentation Assembly.

16.01.2022 This morning our group of Kindergarten 2021 students attended their second orientation session! They practiced their writing, cutting and gluing skills, and enjoyed some playtime in the classroom with their new friends. We are looking forward to seeing the children at the Teddy Bear’s Picnic next week!
11.01.2022 This morning our Stage 3 students participated in the Surf Lifesaving Beach to Bush presentation. They learnt about beach safety, identifying rips, sea creatures, basic first aid, rescues and getting help from a lifeguard. Thank you Surf Lifesaving NSW for a fantastic presentation!

05.01.2022 Look at all of the wonderful donations from our generous community under the ‘Giving Tree’ in the library! Each year we send out the call to our community for donations of non perishable food items to go into hampers for the Salvation Army and other local charities to distribute to families in need. We would also appreciate laundry baskets to pack the food in. Thank you for your support!

01.01.2022 The SRC Koala day has been a great success- over $600 was raised for the WWF Koala fund, which means our school has been able to adopt 3 koalas! It was wonderful to see our student’s interpretations of the Australiana theme, there was lots of green and gold, cute koalas, a few kangaroos and wombats, and even a pair of lamingtons! What a fun way to end Term 3!
