23.01.2022 VALE: WOLFGANG ECKERT. It is with heavy heart that I advise that Wolfie lost his battle with cancer yesterday. Woflie was a popular character at the club and moved to Victoria a few years ago to be with family. He was forever coming up with 'better' ways to get around the golf course, and you could always tell if Wolife had played in the Saturday comp as his cart would be broken down somewhere awaiting the trailer to come and get it! And the buggy he made which fitted the clubs to the frame, only for everything to fall off at the sign of a bump kept us in raptures. He was a fun man and will be sorely missed. Our condolonces go out to his loving family.

03.01.2022 Great News for the clubs golfers. The club now has a range of golfing accessories at very reasonable prices. New brand-name gloves at $15 ea or 2 for $25, Plastic ponchos for those days when rain may ruin your game, not recently, but just in case. These are not limited to just golf, I always keepa 3 or 4 in the van. Prices start from $1 with the 2 pack with hoods $3, plus more to chose from. Divot repair tools, new tees in a variety of style and sizes, including the biggest tees I've ever seen, plus serveral dozen brand new balls, mainly Srixon, but other top names balls as well, all at very good prices. Ask the staff behind the bar for the full run-down of bits.
