24.01.2022 Asparagus $1 a bunch: can it get any cheaper than that? Last week, asparagus dropped to $1.25 a bunch, and we asked ourselves: can they get any cheaper? The answer evidently is: yes, they can. Like: $1 a bunch. So that’s one bunch for Creamed Asparagus Soup, one bunch for bacon-wrapped asparagus (just put under the grill for 15 minutes done!) and one bunch to smother with a garlicy cheese sauce (basically the same sauce as you’d use for cheese fondue). 10.01.2022 Have you ever tried roasting broccolini under the grill? Just sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper and put under a hot grill until the rosettes are getting crisp and slightly charred. Turn and crisp up the other side. Yum!
