22.01.2022 The 2016/17 season has begun today with the seeding of 1000 Lebanese cucumber seeds. Thank you to frog for your company and to RTR FM for the wonderful sounds. Thanks also to the navel orange tree so full with blossom that a gentle breeze wafted over to make the delirium complete!

13.01.2022 From those little things, these things grew...

12.01.2022 Road works to our driveway mean that we are temporarily closed. Well be back in business on Monday April 15th with certified biodynamic eggplant, tomatoes, garlic, luscious golden delicious and our Golden Hill Reed avocados. Thank you for bearing with us. Its about safe entry and exit to and from our property.

11.01.2022 The Box Organics season has begun with the first harvest of garlic, Lebanese cucumber and zucchini. We have been tending the tomatoes and eggplants so look out for them around the end of the month. The avocado season is in full swing and as most of you know, they are sold as Golden Hill Avocados- they enjoyed an organic start to their lives but were taken out of certification a couple of years ago to allow us to deal with the dieback (pytophthora) that had crept into the orchard. I'll keep adding produce and tasty extras to the stall as they become available. Customers have enjoyed the bunches of mint, parsley, oregano and the fabulous lemony lemons and I hope the next batch of herbs will be ready soon.

10.01.2022 We have just started to pick the first avos for the season and will be selling from the farm gate. Last season we had to take the avocados out of biodynamic certification as we were losing trees due to phytopthera (dieback) which spreads rapidly unless controlled. The remedy for this is phosphoric acid, a naturally occurring compound but since it is produced synthetically, it doesn't meet the standards to be considered an allowable biodynamic input. On the biodynamic front; we have maintained our certification in the front paddock and will be germinating lebanese cucumber seeds in the next few weeks as well as getting ready to plant zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant, beans and capsicum. Gotta love the spring! I'll keep you posted so that you know what we have and please feel free to send in your comments and requests.

07.01.2022 The season is flourishing! Seedlings are planted and we are nurturing and weeding the young plants... zucchinis have their first flowers, we've pruned the tomatoes, hoed the cucumbers and weeded the eggplant.... before too long...
