24.01.2022 On Wednesday we had Naomi do a Thermomix demo for us at pick up. Here is the Risotto Verde, ready to eat in 20mins!! **got to use items fresh from this weeks order and a couple from last week... because they are so fresh when we get them, they are still perfect a week later!!***

15.01.2022 A quick market summary With the possible exception of strawberries and blueberries, we can’t really think of anything over-priced this week: virtually everything is at least good value, if not downright cheap. In fruit, we’re seeing some new season action in apples (Royal Gala) and pears (Williams), but all summer stone fruit, tropicals and melons remain in ample supply.... In vegetables, you name itbroccoli, cauliflowers, zucchini, beans, fennel, capsicum, tomatoes, eggplant prices are sharp, and in some cases there’s a bit of over-supply. Plenty of local action: baby eggplant and capsicum from Charlie Vella; watermelons from Emmett’s Farm in Rossmore; cucumbers and baby truss tomatoes from the Ung family in Wallacia; Asian greens from Simon Chong in Leppington; truss tomatoes from south-west Sydney. The heat earlier this week has reduced the supply of hydro lettuces, and prices will remain elevated for the next 3-4 weeks until the next crop comes through.

That's right, we get meat and seafood packs from top Sydney restaurant supplier Handler. These packs get delivered right to your door on a separate day. ... ... we are slowly working our way through all of the options. Research purposes of course ;)

04.01.2022 Low prices haven’t reached supermarket shelves We haven’t done a price comparison for a while about time we did one, and not a moment too soon. By the looks of it, supermarkets including Harris Farm seem quite happy charging like wounded bulls. On a representative basket of 24 items, Box Divvy is 47% cheaper than Coles and a hefty 60% cheaper than Harris Farm. Vote with your feet (and tell your friends) **Woolworths has been advertising price as 'each' and not showing the per kg price for some items. Thus making it impossible to do a fair price comparison**
