19.01.2022 I thought it was about time I introduced myself, seeing you all know me as Boxed by Bean My names Davina and I’m 23 and living in Sunbury. I created this business 2 months ago after a lot of thought after the deli department I worked in at a Coles supermarket was closed. I now do this basically everyday and I work at Coles 3-4 days a week still. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to quit and run this business full time! The name Boxed by Bean comes from my sister as a baby, ...called me Dabeana as she couldn’t pronounce Davina, it got shortened to bean and well 23 years later, it’s still stuck.. Boxed by Bean seemed to flow nicely and it was the first name I thought of. Do I hold a liquor licence to be able to sell boxes? No, after plenty of research, my business is part of a group exempt from needing one, as long as I follow a few rules. One being that the bottle or can ALWAYS needs to be packaged with the food, this is a legal law and I will not jeopardise anything by twisting them. (There’s 5 rules in total to abide by to be exempt) Are our boxes fresh? Absolutely!! No box is made in advance, each box is made right before delivery, it leaves my kitchen and arrives at your house or the person you’re sending one too. Sweet boxes which can be made in advance aren’t either. Being fresh is one of my top priorities and I can’t stress this enough, to me, it’s not worth it. This is why sometimes my boxes are behind, I would rather be behind and deliver fresh beautiful boxes, than be always on time and deliver something that’s been in my fridge. Obviously I aim to be on track all the time but unfortunately this doesn’t always happen. (Also wish I had someone to do my makeup like this everyday for deliveries )

05.01.2022 CHRISTMAS 2020! Christmas is quickly approaching which is why I thought I better jump on and let you all know my plans for this year! December 23rd- all size sweet boxes will be delivered... December 24th- all small & medium fruit, savoury & mixed will be delivered. December 25th- We will be open for LIMITED large boxes. Due to these not being able to fit in most fridges, savoury, fruit & any perishable boxes will be delivered Christmas Day. Pick up will be available and delivery is limited to Sunbury only. Order cut off date is December 18th if not filled earlier for Christmas Day. Davina
