23.01.2022 Box Hill Cricket Club Community Coach (Paid Position) Mustangs Family give this one a share!! Box Hill Women’s Premier Cricket Club is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Coach (playing or non-plying) of our Community Team that plays in the WCCC East Group for the upcoming 2020/21 season.... The role would be a great fit for an experienced player who would like to continue to play and develop our young talent or a coach looking to expand their coaching credentials. The role can be a match day role only or also include a development role at the club. All games are played on Sundays, with very little travel! Remuneration is available with this position. Box Hill CC has a long and established history in Women’s Cricket having been involved in Premier Cricket for almost 30 years. We have three senior teams in Premier Cricket and a Community team in the WCCC. We pride ourselves on our ability to develop young players and to help them to be the best version of themselves. If you have a passion for coaching and developing young talent and you are interested in the role, please contact Jason McNulty Director of Women’s Cricket at [email protected] ASAP.
22.01.2022 MENS COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT Dear Players It is with regret that The Club has to announce that Ryan will not be continuing in the role as Senior Men's Coach next season. Below is a statement from Ryan that hopefully gives clarity to this decision for you as players ... "Unfortunately, even the best laid plans can succumb to not having enough hours in the day. Due to my work & family commitments (baby #2 due in August), I regretfully cannot continue in the role as Senior Coach of the Box Hill Cricket Club. The main reason being that I can't commit enough time to the most important foundation of the club - the players. This season was very enjoyable, and I formed some great relationships which I will miss being able to develop further as club coach. The club has an amazing culture of mate ship and inclusiveness which is well advanced of other clubs in the VSDCA and something I was very impressed with. Although the season wasn't as successful as we had all hoped, there are some very strong signs moving into next season plus a lot of the great individual performances were on the back of hard work - the pillar of any great club. I won't be lost to the club as I look forward to giving back in purely a playing role next season and allowing my replacement to focus their energy on a pure coaching & development role. Thank you to all of the players who made my year as coach a lot fun." Webby It is really pleasing from the Club's perspective that Ryan wishes to remain at Box Hill and continue to contribute to the success that is just around the corner. Ken Trollope (Chairman of Selectors
