23.01.2022 Today we take a look back at our I Grade premiership from season 2016/17. After winning the toss and batting first St David's were never able to get any partnerships going and were restricted to 8/180 from 40 overs. The leading wicket taker was Garthik Sivapalan with 3 for 34 from 7 overs.... Box Hill North were never troubled in the chase as the passed the total in 34th over losing only 3 wickets. Once again Garthik Sivapalan lead the way with 55 not out and was supported by Godfrey Yoganathan with 28 not out.

22.01.2022 The guys from our F Grade side have been hit hardest with unaviailablities the most this year and have been helped by some new inclusions to the club and some veterans helping out and still only find themselves one game off top 4 Some new names top our leading run scorers with Brett Moore and Shivam Tayal leading the way Brett is also leading the way with the ball with Anurag Tiwari not far behind him ... With all 4 sides being very competitive on the field and our new rooms being available soon should be an exciting second half of the year

20.01.2022 While tomorrow is going to be a tough and emotional day for the club I just wanted to share a match that will be remembered for a long time to come. The season was 2018/19 and our 3rds were looking for back to back premierships. After finishing 4th a semi final against rivals Forest Hill was waiting and after winning the toss and batting the Box Hill North lads were only able to make 146. With Forest Hill slowly reeling in the target the ball was thrown back to opening bowler... Jimmy Taylor. The odds were stacked against us and Forest Hill needed just 4 runs to win with 3 wickets in hand but this is where the heart and determination from one of the best people I know took over. Some classic catches and some great bowling saw Box Hill North take 3 for 0 with Jimmy taking the final wicket LBW for us to win 146 to 142 and progress and win back to back premierships. Jimmy the star with the ball finished with 4 wickets and another 3 in the GF including the final wicket again LBW. So tomorrow when you walk onto the field it's ok to feel sad but remember our friend and teammate would want you out there in the Box Hill North colours giving it everything you've got for this great club. 19.01.2022 Box Hill North D grade side are sitting comfortably in the top 4 at the Christmas break having only lost one game so far Blake Herreen is in some great form at the top of the order leading the way with 166 runs for the season Not far behind is Jamie Phillips who has 154 runs in his 3 hits without being dismissed ... Congratulations to the three captains and we wish them well in their first season as official skippers of teams from our great club. 17.01.2022 NEW ONE DAY AND T20 UNIFORMS With Ray McIntosh Shield consisting of all One Day cricket this season the BHRDCA has informed all clubs that full coloured uniforms are required. With the commitee obtaining 2 new sponsors this off season we are releasing a new playing kit.... If you are a shield player or aspire to be these uniforms are compulsory. Priority will be given to these players and a second order will be placed so if you would like a shirt please see or contact Steve. 14.01.2022 Good afternoon BHNSK friends, family and fans. This post is a reminder regarding our preparation for the upcoming season and what you can do to help. Here is a quick list of things we need assistance the ensure a successful season 20/21:- - Retain and grow (recruit) our existing playing list... - Past players or friends of ours are a great place to start! - Club Coach. We are wanting a leader who can take us to the next level by coordinating our training and giving direction and stability to our club. Wages can be discussed once agreements made. - We are looking for excited youngsters wanting to play cricket this summer as we look to reintroduce our juniors program. - Any females looking for a different and fun way to get fit and make new friends, please contact us as we would LOVE to start a womens cricket team in the very near future. - Volunteers to help run a fully functioning kiosk that includes food and alcohol, in our brand new kitchen! - Any other volunteers who would be willing to help with other tasks such as scoring and arvo teas. Please remember that this is a great time to get involved with the club as we embark on a season with brand new club rooms, training nets and re-surfaced grounds. 10.01.2022 BHNCC are excited to announce the construction of our brand new, state of the art club rooms is well under way! Our new rooms will provide an amazingly unique spectator experience as the communal space and shelter extends well between the two main ovals. This provides an 180 degree view of both grounds, shade, seating, cooling and access to food and beverages all whilst watching the action. This space is also custom designed for the modern cricket club and considers all requi...rements a cricketer could need. This includes multiple amenities, storage space, four large change rooms and a first aid office. Attached with this post are the floor plans showing the spaces being built and the other images are the digital concept photos. We will keep you up to date with the progress of the building as well as other exciting changes currently happening at our club!

Through months of hard work and planning the caretaker committee has agreed upon a new logo for the club which will also go on new One Day and T20 uniforms as well as club apparel. The committee would like to thank Jimmy Taylor for his tireless work on fielding many design options and working closely with a designer to come up with a great design for the club.... 04.01.2022 Today we look back at our first premiership since the merger in 2013/14. Our second 11 claimed the 13/14 Shield Reserve 2nds title beating East Burwood in the final at Blackburn. After winning the toss and electing to bat by tea on day 1 Box Hill North had taken control of the match.... A young Gavin Carusi led the way with the ball taking 4 wickets and a big opening partnership from Steve Carusi 86 and David Sim 47 put the Superkings well in control at the end of day 1. Continuing to bat on day 2 Daniel Frazer contributed with 47 before the game was well out of reach and the Shield awarded to Box Hill North.

04.01.2022 2020/21 Season Update Hello to all Box Hill North Super Kings Cricket Club players, members, supporters and extended families. The year 2020 so far will have to be one of the most bizarre years in history. We at BHNSKCC hope all of you are coping and getting through the Covid-19 pandemic and lock down restrictions without too much trouble.... We as a club are writing to you to give you an update for the upcoming season. Last season saw our great club strive without suitable facilities as our grounds were being re-surfaced and our club rooms knocked down for renovation. There is no doubt that you are aware of the financial strains this put on our club. This didnt deter the club as three of the four senior sides played finals which was a huge effort. The BHNSKCC caretaker committee (until the official AGM occurs) have been hard at work in the off-season preparing for the 2020/21 season. There are plenty of things to look forward to in the up-and-coming season: Two completely renovated ovals and pitches Four lane training nets Brand new Club rooms and Social rooms Four Senior Sides Two Veteran Sides Implementation of a Junior Coordinator roles with plans in place to return the junior program to our club Interest in a potential womens team As you can see there is a lot to look forward to in the 2020/21 season. This is where you as a member, past player and supporters need to get involved: We Need to: Retain our existing playing list Recruit new players of any ability to our club Reach out to past players to get them back at the club as players and socially How you can help: By committing the club this year as a player Contact the committee giving us any leads you may know on new or past players Sign up on all our social media platform (Facebook page and TeamApp) Reach out to the committee to assist with certain areas; assisting with updating our website, provide ideas and assistance for social fundraisers, provide possible connections with furniture retailers and indoor sports equipment to use and have in the new rooms The club has a lot to offer this year and the potential is enormous if we all commit to the Box Hill North Super Kings and do our little bit to make the club even better.
