23.01.2022 Here's another #tbt. This was the famous "slum dog millionaire" speech against Federal/Bayside (who merged with someone). A thriller with a goal after the siren to seal the victory. Some old favs here @ Box Hill, Victoria
23.01.2022 Hi all, with a further easing of restrictions, it is possible, I suspect likely, that we will get some games in. Therefore... REGISTER... SERIOUSLY. It's easy and better to do it now than just before a game. Here is the link. ... https://membership.sportstg.com/regoform.cgi
22.01.2022 Our wonderful sponsors, Spring Osteo remain open, with plenty of safeguards, so, with the season postponed, now is the time to get all your aches and pains sorted. Support those who support us!
20.01.2022 Here's how the sides may have looked if the season had gone ahead. I think Laurie has the draw a little wrong, but that's not surprising given the state of the world at the moment. Lots of names missing and plenty to come back in! Thanks Laurie Zarafa...what a star!
19.01.2022 Hi all, the Board of the AFLVM has decided that there will be NO season this year. While we are all disappointed, there is no reason we can't continue to train and support each other both in football and in life. Our Board will discuss the training schedule and, when circumstances allow, our social schedule.

15.01.2022 A Important message from the League. The Vic Metro Superules Board met tonight to discuss the COVID-19 Pandemic, and would like to advise our position as a matter of urgency. The safety and welfare of our Players, Official, Volunteers and their Families are our first priority.... The Board have therefore taken the precautionary step of postponing the start of the Season. This decision will be reviewed when more advice is received from AFL Victoria ( there are meetings tomorrow ), the State Government and Chief Medical Officer. We will communicate any updates as soon as they become available. In the meantime we are seeking guidance from AFL Vic in regards to Practice Matches and Training, and will keep Clubs advised. Several suburban Leagues have advised Clubs to cease ALL activity, but we want further information from AFL to pass on to you, so you can have some input on this decision. We trust you all stay safe.

12.01.2022 I think as we get older, we forget how much fun we had getting muddy during a close game of #afl. Here's #tbt memories of a game against Beaconsfield. I reckon we won by about 1 point, but I could be wrong...always a great contest.
10.01.2022 Hi all, I know we're all keen to get back to footy, I just wanted to clarify how the latest information from both our League and AFLVIC relates to us. Non-contact training in groups of 10 (not including support staff) can commence from next Monday. There are conditions that must be met, which we will advise you of prior to training. These will be focused on hygiene and personal safety and the safety of others. WE DO NOT YET HAVE APPROVAL FOR THIS TO HAPPEN.... Members of our Committee have been in contact with City of Whitehorse and we will advise you as soon as we have more information. We are all as keen as you. The Committee is hoping to meet prior to Monday to work out how we can use the space we have, with the teams we have, to best effect... Please be patient, and hold on. Keep up the fitness.
08.01.2022 Selection dissection... Who will make the cut? Will Hairy George appeal his suspension? Will Nigel take the cash? Here's the good oil. Thanks to Laurie for the content. Feel free to submit your own. ... Take care everyone.
