25.01.2022 Coming to the Stables in 2021!!! http://aflinternational.com/world-9s-to-return-in-2021/
24.01.2022 MOMENTUM MONDAY "Anything is possible when you have the right people that support you" We often look at the most successful people and 'think how did they get... there' forgetting that an important key was their influences, the people that supported them. Leading from last weeks quote "Show me your friends and ill show you your future" ... The people that are reaching goals, the have the never give up attitude more often than not had people to look up to. People that want the best for them, people that keep them accountable to their goals, that push them out their comfort zone, people that showed them not to give up. Keeping them humble; knowing they aren't alone. . When you have people in your life that won't give up on you, how can you give up on yourself (on your goals). The key is sticking with them! Understanding that comes from love and the people that truly have your back are the ones that are willing to support your dreams. . Your big dreams don't scare these types of people. And if you don't have big dreams yet, these types of people will truly big them out of you if your willing listen. . The secret is TIME. Give yourself time to develop, give these people time to make a real impact. When you find truly supportive people they deserve your time the most. Remember this people can be anyone... Your parents that push you, your coaches that keep you accountable, your teaches that can see your brilliance and so on... Stick to them like glue. . Remember that you become who you are around. . Students are not greater than their teacher. But the student who is fully trained will become like the teacher. Luke 6:40 NLT . So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT . 18.01.2022 Club Update Good Evening All, Hope you all have stayed safe and well during these unprecedented times! ... During the pandemic, Victoria was in a State of Emergency, yesterday the 11th May 2020, the Premier announced that Victorians can participate in outdoor exercise in groups of up to 10 people, after 11:59 pm on Tuesday 12 May (tonight). What does this mean for us? Rugby Vic is working with State and Local Sporting Associations on the implications of these announcements and how we can safely, practically and responsibly implement the decision. For now, there is no licence or formal arrangement in place for our club to use our usual ground or pavilion for club sanctioned training or exercise. RV are working through options to grant seasonal licences or permission to use Council facilities, once guidelines are provided by State Sporting Associations and where it is safe, practical and reasonable. With no formal arrangement in place, players are encouraged to stay fit and reconnect with their friends in small groups for non-club sanction activity at Councils sports fields from Wednesday 13 May 2020, following the State Governments directives. We remind club members that no-one has exclusive use of Councils parks or ovals at this time. The Committee wants to thank you for your cooperation throughout the pandemic. We understand that you are keen to resume club sanctioned training as soon as possible. We appreciate your cooperation throughout the pandemic, as part of our collective responsibility for community health and safety. We will communicate with you again shortly when were in a position to provide more information. Should you have any further questions please dont hesitate to contact me . Cheers Jack Goodman President Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club

11.01.2022 Update Good Morning All, From Monday the numbers per group sessions can increase from 10 to 20 moving us toward a more normal training arrangement. At this point there is still no contact, but a position that we can now extend the groups and work toward a more cohesive arrangement. The coaching group will be in touch soon on how this framework will look and how the sessions will be facilitated. ... From a competition perspective we are now working towards a 11th July return to competition, but this will be predicated on when we get the ok for contact to return. There will be a requirement to complete a minimum of 3 weeks of contact before this could be approved to ensure a safe level of conditioning to protect player safety. With Juniors, we are still unclear as to when this competition will commence, RV are working hard on drafting a commencement date in line with senior competition and how this will look. Will update you all once this has been finalized and when the training will be expanded to the full Junior compliment. We have done on a great job to date with our Return to Play, please ensure we keep following the framework and implementing the safe hygiene practices. For the senior players yet to commence training please commit to the ongoing training sessions, important that you get as many sessions in as possible before the pending return. So, the drive to a season commencement is looking more positive by the day, thanks to those who have registered to date please look to keep the registrations coming with a commencement date pending. Coaches will continue to communicate training sessions and the structure, if you have any questions at all please let me know and I look forward to seeing you all soon back at the Stables!
