06.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: Teletherapy is now available. Due to COVID-19, from Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Box Hill Speech Pathology will be moving to Teletherapy ONLY for an indefinite period. No further in-clinic sessions will be available from this time. Teletherapy with your Speech Pathologist is very similar to seeing a clinician in the clinic.... Research shows that outcomes are consistent with face to face treatment for success in many areas of Speech Therapy via Teletherapy. There is also strong evidence that Teletherapy is effective across a range of Speech Pathology practice areas worldwide. Teletherapy sessions can be completed via Skype, Zoom, Face time, WhatsApp or any other preferred method that is accessible to you. Teletherapy offers some real positives! Teletherapy can: *Make therapy more accessible for all. *Increase family involvement. *Increase comfort and provide a feeling of security in your own home. *Increase children's engagement in therapy.
