16.01.2022 We are sad to hear of the passing of former Australian Middleweight title challenger Leroy Brown. Our thoughts and condolences to all his family, friends and loved ones.

15.01.2022 The ANBF and Australian boxing community was sad to learn of the passing of Len Sweetenham this past week. Len was the ANBF Secretary, from 1978 to 1981 (approx.), during Jack Rennie’s Presidency. He was one of the ANBF party that attended the WBC convention in Seoul, Korea in 1981. ... It was at that convention where voting rights were gained for the ANBF on Commonwealth title matters, and the joining of the OBF (now OPBF). Len was the father of renowned Australian former IBF world champion, Barry Michael. We would like to express our deepest sympathy and pass our condolences to Barry and his family.

15.01.2022 Law v Frost Can Justin Frost turn the tables and claim back the Australian Super Lightweight title, snatched by Waylon Law in their first outing? We find out in 8 days when this highly anticipated rematch goes down at Eatons Hill!

13.01.2022 ANBF MALE FIGHTER OF THE YEAR - BEN KITE. ANBF FEMALE FIGHTER OF THE YEAR - SHANNON O'CONNELL. Congratulations to Ben and Shannon.... Not only did Ben win the Australian title on the defending champions own promotion, he was also defending his own Australasian title for the third time in that bout. Ben then went on to defend the title against a very worthy challenger, in what was his 5th consecutive ANBF sanctioned title fight. Shannon has done it all. Regional title fights, world title fights. Home and abroad. Although having an illustrious career, she had never won the Aussie title. Shannon changed that when she took on the undefeated Kylie Fulmer on the huge Horn v Tszyu card in Townsville, and won in impressive fashion.

11.01.2022 The ANBF Women’s National Ratings released on 30th November 2020 and (the most recent) on 6th January 2021 inadvertently omitted to include Susie Ramadan (the current Women's International Boxing Association World Super Flyweight Champion). This has been corrected in the attached ANBF Women’s National Ratings which are dated 10th January 2021. We apologise for this oversight.

01.01.2022 I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported me throughout my journey so far. My team, my sponsors, everyone says it's a one man sport but... trust me you don't get anywhere in this game without having a great team behind you. I am proud to say that I am an Australian but I am equally as proud to have my Tongan and Samoan heritage. Also a huge shout out to all my family in Queensland and from around the world that have been supporting me. Much love to you all See more
