11.01.2022 Hi BFFrs, We couldn’t end 2020 without one last hora at BFF to end it on a high after such an eventful year. It was honestly a really fun last session at BFF with those who made it. Thank you ... Thanks to Jodi for running the session, for adding the lights and colour to brighten the hour, and for the great tunes It certainly has been a ride this year for everyone! There have been many sad times and lots of hurdles to overcome. There has also been some good come out of the year too as people have been challenged and forced to re-adapt and perhaps take a different path for the better. To each and every BFF member, our hearts go out to you (and arms with biggest hugs) for coming on the journey with us. We couldn’t have made it out of the dark side without your strength, your support, your humour, your commitment and!!! your friendship. 03.01.2022 Hi BFFers Michael Beauchamp (current BFFer) is on a mission for a good cause, and to help support him, BFF are inviting members, and friends and family of members, to participate in the "Push-up Challenge" 2020. A team has been set up which is a fundraising/awareness challenge for mental health and suicide in Australia. All fundraising goes to Headspace.... Basically, this is how it works: Complete your push-ups any time and any place, as long as you meet the daily target. Each day, the target number of push-ups to complete will reflect a different statistic to do with mental health in Australia. For example, 45 push-ups to recognise the percentage of Australians who will experience a mental health condition over their lifetime. Over the course of 21-days you'll be challenged to complete 3,046 push-ups in total, representing the number of lives lost in Australia to suicide in 2018. Registration is free and fundraising is optional. If you want to fundraiser, please direct people to your personal link through the Push-Up Challenge website (details when you register) so that our team can get the credit.
