25.01.2022 I don't spend ages getting ready before defaulting to the same outfit. I no longer hate how everything looks on me. It's actually fun to pick out my clothes for the day. Now I enjoy shopping for new clothes. In fact, my clothes are starting to feel loose. ... I can even fit into a dress I haven't been able to for years! I don't avoid social events. I have let go of my fear of judgement of my body/weight/people thinking that I'm fat. I'm no longer consumed by constant thoughts of food. I simply eat nutritious food, when I'm hungry. I still treat myself, but I no longer go overboard. No longer do I beat myself up with negative thoughts, I let it all wash over me. I wake up happy, not irritable. 09.01.2022 BEFORE & AFTER Swipe swipe swipe!! I know, I’m meant to be upset about the restrictions - but I’m still so pumped up with joy about my new addition. ... If this isn’t the sexiest shelf you’ve ever seen, then what is!? Big thanks to my friend and fellow biz owner Emma from @nourishflourishfitness who recommended this bad boy. In fact, I was putting it together all afternoon, so I missed the restriction update. My team were messaging me asking what the plan is, and I was all like ‘what do you mean, we haven’t been sharing any equipment and have been COVID safe at our classes.’ It wasn’t until one of my trainers just texted and said ‘what’s the plan this lockdown’ that I was like OH SHIT I better get online and check the changes! So we’re still running our current timetable, just online. Simple, easy, safe and sane approach. I could’ve let it get me down. But we’ve done it before and we can do it again - easy! Also, nothing is stopping me from feeling the joy that this gorgeous shelf brings. Who else loves organisation and order!? Ps. Next a kettlebell rack, and a plate rack for my home gym set up. In saying that, something that makes me recalibrate and feel back on track/relaxed/positive/ready for a new day is self care. Self care on the weekends are my favourite things to schedule in. Mine are super simple; ... -Not making plans -Reading a good book in the super comfy expensive chair we bought and hardly use -Laying on the floor and patting my pup while she moults everywhere (I find this super theraputic haha) -Vacuuming the house (clean house = clear mind) And last but not least; -A beautiful relaxing (and super hot) salt bath.
