16.01.2022 Well, this one was really a tough job! No machines available on the island and had to park all these boats in their parking slots! Team of 20 people manually handling one boat with the help of ropes!... Okay, now you must be wondering is it for real? Nah mate, just kidding Had it been the case you wouldn’t have seen this post . Clicked this beautiful picture while at a moving job on Cockatoo Island! . Moving job on an island is a tough one, for real! The only way you can get your truck on the island is via big boat. But where the problem arises is the access. Access is so narrow that trucks can’t go where we want to move the stuff. . It is better to call a water taxi to a wharf, unload stuff from your truck(s), load it on the boat, unload it on the island and then put it where it belongs! . Mind you, sometimes you have to be quick at unloading from boat as some other boat must be waiting to offload passengers!
