06.01.2022 THE VERANDA PROJECT / This gorgeous home on the Florida waterfront boasts Palecek in every room. Merging traditional British Colonial architecture with the simplistic lines of Balinese style. We adore the punchy cotton candy exterior and wide-open, airy walkways. Designer Heidi Wekler @heidiwelker1 told us a little more about the project... Views of water are captivating from the moment you open the front door, whether it’s the glistening knife edge infinity pool or the electric aqua of the ocean inlet beyond. We wanted to bring the essence of tranquil waters and ocean breeze into each room. Four of the five bedrooms feature a four poster bed, some with fabric bed hangings that billow in the wind. When not painted white, stucco walls were painted soft sea foam and conch shell pink echoing the colours of nature outside the window.
