25.01.2022 Scrolling through my photos looking for some highlights of the year to post and I see lots of happy moments and smiling faces. It had certainly been a hell of a year but there was also so much good! Our first year of trading in the cellar door and restaurant was full of hurdles and roadblocks- but we made it! Our team is made of fabulous people who are now like family and our customers have become great friends. We couldn’t imagine our lives any other way ... Happy New Year everyone! Wishing you all a healthy and happy 2021, may you seek out the happy moments xx

23.01.2022 Slow Sunday mornings are good for the soul. The juggle is real- particularly coming up to this time of year. There are many balls in the air, some get dropped some stay mid flight for longer than intended! Be kind to yourselves, its been a crazy year- have the bath, drink the wine and breathe!

21.01.2022 Our Cellar door and restaurant hours are now back to normal! Pop in for a wine tasting, bar food or a full delicious meal Wednesday - Sunday from 11am. Bookings are recommended for lunch and dinner service. Morpeth is the perfect day trip destination from Newcastle with quaint shops, beautiful river frontage and lovely architecture Look forward to seeing you soon x

17.01.2022 We often get asked about the story behind Boydells. How did it get its name? Why did we start it? Boydells was born out of a love for farming and for wine. We are farmers and wine lovers and decided to join these passions together. We found the vineyard (and darling farm house!) of our dreams and moved our family across the state to make our dreams a reality! It’s been a hell of a ride so far, raising 4 girls on the farm, creating a wine label, winning a few awards, start...ing a restaurant and cellar door - throw in a bit of lock down and home schooling for good measure Thanks for following our story and joining us for the ride!

Taking a minimalist approach, we completed a full solid ferment to give this small batch Verdelho an earthy, savoury note on the nose and palate, whilst maintaining the signature tropical freshness of a classic Verdelho. ... There is limited stock of this small batch wine, only available in our cellar door and online x

06.01.2022 A throwback to our feature in @countrystylemagazine This dining table was made for us from timber walls from an old farm house in Dunedoo. It features some of our girls names they have scratched into the top and loads of memories of friends gathering, candles being blown out and plans made. Thank you @abbiemelle for capturing this x

03.01.2022 With only 4 weeks or so to go until vintage commences, we are getting prepped and ready to hit go when the grapes are just right- juicy and full of flavour for another cracking year. Farming can be a fickle beast, I am in awe of the contrast between this summer and last. We have paddocks full of feed and fat happy cattle, my garden is humming and growing before my eyes...but grapes prefer a hot, dry finish. So we are excited to see the rain clearing for a spell so we can get in and get the job done. We will then welcome the rain back with open arms of course!

01.01.2022 Our Safari tent is located on our farm overlooking the gorgeous grazing fields of the lower Barrington ranges. Designed for a relaxing couples getaway complete with outdoor shower off a soaring gum tree, where the only peeking toms will be the wallabies and kangaroos.
