22.01.2022 A 2020 model KX450 we built with a total cost coming to $35,000 including bike purchase. The complete build took months with several parts having to be built on order and sourced from overseas. The engine has received a complete hydraulic Rekluse automatic clutch, raised compression with a CNC machined high compression piston and a Vortex ignition system programmed with ten selectable maps plus launch and traction control. The suspension is KYB A-Kit with kashima, DLC and ceramic coatings fitted into a set of X-Trig ROCS triple clamps with adjustable steering offset. A full pro circuit exhaust system, EXCEL A60 rims, Talon hubs, Renthal Sprockets, DID chain, Renthal Twinwall handlebars, ARC levers, titanium foot pegs plus Kustom MX sticker kit and custom seat cover by Topline Upholstery. 14.01.2022 A set of WP 48 forks and shock all finished off with kashima, PVD and cerakote. Internals fitted with low friction bushings and seals. Rear shock converted to a bladder type, revalved and the dreaded front Explor forks were revalved with the compression valve being changed to an adjustable shim and valve type which results in much more adjustability and much smoother more accurate dampening.
