25.01.2022 Sugarpuff’s saturday baking South Africa style! Sweet Malva pudding and ice cream! Thanks for the cracking recipe South African Tourism AU #meetsouthafricalater #eatsouthafricanow

25.01.2022 Australia’s Capital is a bit of a stunner when the sun shines. Visit Canberra

24.01.2022 The BEST Detroit style pizza at Grease Monkey! This cheesy beauty is Raff’s 8 Mile - with bacon, prawns, jalapeños, cheese and red vodka sauce. I can also vouch for the truffle mac and cheese bites and jalapeño poppers. Visit Canberra

24.01.2022 Arty fartying about at the National Museum of Australia. Visit Canberra

24.01.2022 Having hit repeat on visits to Canberra twice last month, we're clearly big fans of the National Capital. So much so that we're already planning another visit next month in our effort to tick off the mighty list of things to do.

23.01.2022 After anchoring in a pretty bay where my wee pirates walked the plank (well, at least leapt wildly and repeatedly off the swimming deck) our captain ferried us to another sheltered bay before bidding us adieu and leaving us for part two of of our B&B experience. 22.01.2022 There’s no better way to explore Sydney Harbour than by sail. And there’s no room in Sydney offering a better harbour view than the one from a luxury yacht. Thanks to Sydney by Sail’s amazing B&B Packages we set sail on an overnight adventure with a super friendly professional skipper who taught the kids the ropes while I kicked back and soaked up the sights like an overindulged sloth. 22.01.2022 My ice-cream obsessed offspring shares his thoughts on why Canberra's Frugii Dessert Laboratory serves the best ice cream in Australia, and why their lemon meringue choux alone is worth the three hour drive from Sydney! (Spoiler alert: It really is)

21.01.2022 Ice Cream!!! What else would one eat after getting drenched in a hailstorm? Loved the creamy truffle and refreshingly fragrant lemongrass scoops at Frugii Dessert Laboratory and the lemon meringue choux was a revelation! Visit Canberra

21.01.2022 From a tastebud blasting bhaji, blanket-sized naan and smoke-roasted baby eggplant to the textural genius of the best biryani in town and a towering spire of mango pistachio kulfi, the flavours came at us in waves during a meal in a million at Manjits at the Wharf. The food is epic. The service is epic. I just wish I had a spare stomach so I could eat it all over again. - Raff #invited Spooning Australia Manjits at the Wharf #manjitswharf #spooningaustralia #spooninginvited

21.01.2022 No need for something as trivial as snow to get these two skiing! The instructors at Vertikal Indoor Snow Sports were ace and Sugarpuff assures me that the apres ski hot chocolate was as good as any ski resort! Visit Canberra Ski & Snowboard with Kids Holidays with Kids

21.01.2022 Steampunk by sea! Another fun, but very wet, Halloween for my wee creeps.

19.01.2022 Why Holiday Parks are a recipe for the perfect family getaway https://www.nrmaparksandresorts.com.au//the-recipe-for-yo/ #NRMAholidayParks

17.01.2022 Absolutely in love with Dirty Janes Canberra - from its cool and quirky vintage collectibles to its cafe and forge, this place speaks to my repurposed, restored and upcycled soul. Sugarpuff felt it too, except maybe for the creepy dolls. Visit Canberra

17.01.2022 East Hotel is one of those rare beasts that puts kids first. Their spacious family suites include a seperate room with games, beanbags, books and an Xbox for the kids. And tambourines! A rather noisy addition. Sorry neighbours. Visit Canberra Holidays with Kids

16.01.2022 Oh my! Can see why Canberra’s Morks Restaurant, located on the foreshore in Kingston, was awarded a hat for their tasty take on modern Thai cuisine. Visit Canberra

16.01.2022 Hungry travellers should consider hightailing it to Orange, a foodie, fabulous destination for all!

15.01.2022 The plague doctor was on hand last night to ensure Halloween stayed Covid safe!

13.01.2022 This has to be Summer's BEST VALUE family dining deal. At just $49 (for two adults and two kids) The Bavarian's amazing Feed the Family feast includes traditional haüs-made pretzels, chips, roasted pumpkin salad, golden jägerschnitzelsis (that's chicken schnitty to the layman) plus apple strudel and ice cream. The package is available until 30 January 2021 at The Bavarian's numerous locations across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, ACT and South Australia. You can read Raff's full review here. Guten Appetit! https://boyeatsworld.com.au/review-feed-the-family-feast-a/

13.01.2022 Accio wizard wares! Fyshwick’s Quizzic Alley is the most brilliant Harry Potter themed store. It’s even better than the ones we visited in the UK! From Bertie Bott’s Every Flavoured Beans to Broomsticks, there’s something for everything Harry fan! There’s even Potion’s Classes for little witches and wizards! Visit Canberra

12.01.2022 20 bucks for this smile? Bargain! We took this little snow bunny to Corin Forest, just 45 minutes from Canberra, to indulge in a bit of snow fun while her big brother hit the Alpine slide for some speedier action.

11.01.2022 Familial, fun and suitably frosty, Charlotte Pass Snow Resort is a place where magical snow holiday memories are made. And its isolation is just one of the things that makes it a top pick for families this winter.

11.01.2022 We ran away on the weekend. All the way to Narrabeen (around 30 minutes from home). And while we may not have travelled far, our weekend of sun, surf and sand at NRMA Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park was just what we needed: a change of scenery, a fantastic beach, plenty of wildlife, great accommodation, good food (even if we had to cook it ourselves), and family time. What more could anyone want? NRMA Parks and Resorts

11.01.2022 Love this. We’ve been growing our own river mint and lemon myrtle for a while now. Time to expand our native garden...

09.01.2022 Can ice cream be so good it’s worth driving 3 1/2 hours just for a fix? Hell yeah! We’re back in Canberra again! Because the siren call of Frugii Dessert Laboratory’s insanely good ice cream, truffle affogato, and addictive lemon meringue choux is impossible to resist! #frugii Visit Canberra

09.01.2022 Open for business! This little cutie thinks there’s just a bit too much sad going around at the moment... so she’s set up a new not for profit business to spread a little sunshine and smiles! #loveher #happinessiscontageous

08.01.2022 Even when the weather’s not so great, Lake Burleigh Griffin is lovely. And the best way to see it has to be by GoBoat Canberra. These little picnic boats putt around the lake and are a must for visitors to Canberra. There’s even enough room under the boat’s picnic table to hide in the event of a sudden inexplicable hail storm! Trust me. But rain, hail and shine, Raff and Sugarpuff had smiles on their dials! In fact, I don’t think we’ve ever laughed so much! Visit Canberra #packabrolly

06.01.2022 Raaaaaarrr! Dino time at the National Dinosaur Museum Visit Canberra This place is fun and educational for kids big and small Holidays with Kids

05.01.2022 If you can’t visit Disney you can at least eat Disney!

03.01.2022 Sugarpuff makes sugary puffs. Pretty proud of my baby baker who spent her Saturday whipping up these gorgeously golden South African koeksisters (with just a little help from mama for the frying part). Thanks South African Tourism AU for the recipe. It swept us right back to happy times in South Africa. #meetsouthafricalater #eatsouthafricanow
