17.01.2022 Today communities across the country come together to commemorate the many sacrifices of those who have served and those currently serving in Australia's defence forces. It was heartwarming to see so many people in attendance the local services supporting the men and women of our Boyne Island Tannum sands RSL sub branch. Though we will never truly understand their sacrifices, we will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder in their honour. Leave a comment to let us know who is in your thoughts today. "Lest we forget" #ANZAC If you or a loved one are struggling today, don't be afraid to reach out for help.

16.01.2022 Do you wear a helmet while cycling, scootering or skateboarding? Studies suggest that wearing a properly fitted, Australian standard approved helmet can reduce the risk of serious head injury by up to 70%. Use your head - wear a helmet

15.01.2022 Hot Tip After hearing our siren and seeing our lights in the rear vision mirror we don't want you to panic. Simply travel at the speed limit and find the next practical and safe place to pull over to the left. We value the safety of our road users as much as we do our patients. Have a great weekend out and about in our beautiful community.

14.01.2022 Do you have a keysafe or a spare key hiding somewhere at your residence? If so, we would love to know the details. These will be stored confidentially in our operations centre to assist us to get to you in the event that you are unable to let us in. If you have elderly relatives or neighbours, please take 10 minutes out of your day to discuss and arrange emergency entry to their residence. Please use the email link on our page to provide the following information:... Name Address Contact number Detailed information on keysafe location + code; or key location Having this information on file might just prevent us from having to go all Jackie Chan on your front door

10.01.2022 We wanted to wait for feel-good Friday but this is just too good to wait. This post is really to acknowledge how awesome humans are and how when we band together, we can achieve extraordinary things. We recently became aware of a project where innovation and compassion collide to produce a result which is nothing short of incredible. Envision Hands is a project where plastic bottletops are collected and recycled to create filament for a 3D printer. This filament is then used... to print prosthetic hands for children in underprivileged settings. The guys at the Boyne Island "Cash for Cans" depot caught wind of this project and have started collecting plastic bottletops (and have quite a collection). They have also partnered with a major freight company to deliver these bottletops to their destination. So help us spread the word. Don't bin your plastic bottletops...... instead, take them down to the depot on Enterprise Street Boyne Island where they can make a real difference. The boys are taking all types of plastic bottletops and they assure us that they don't care if they are still attached to the bottles. Have a fab weekend out and about in our beautiful community . https://envision.org.au/envision-hands/

08.01.2022 The Hook-up is well and truly under way and what better opportunity to think about water safety. If you are out on the water this weekend remember to check your safety gear before heading out, keep lifejackets on the little ones, take plenty of water and slip, slop, slap and slide. Have a great weekend
