21.01.2022 Day One Done! Meet got off to a cracking start with GOLD and a 3.3 sec PB in the 200m Fly. Followed by a 4.9 sec PB in the 100 IM. Bit of a dip in the 200m Ba but up again for .3 sec PB in the 50 free to hit a 26.8. well done Sal, great day.

Date Posted: September 2020... Job Description: Located in Central Queensland in the townships of Boyne Island and Tannum Sands the Boyne Tannum Bullets Swim Club is a rapidly expanding club. The club’s swim program is continually evolving with the vision of creating a swimming community that can offer multiple pathways to access, learn and love the sport of swimming - starting with 4-year-old beginners all the way to State and National level representatives. The club is now looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Assistant Swim Coach to assist in the coaching and coordination of our Junior program and assist in the delivery of squad training under the direction of the Head Coach. Duties/Roles will include: - Coaching Junior and Development Level Squad Programs - Manage communication with Junior swimmers and parents. - Assist with the delivery of Learn to Swim Lessons - Assist at some club nights and swim meets - Assist with senior level swimming as required Favorable Attributes: - Ability to manage groups and keep the energy flowing in a manner that keeps kids safe, active and engaged. - Experience coordinating teachers and LTS levels would be a bonus! Key Criteria: - Teacher of Competitive Strokes Certificate. - Bronze (Development) level favorable - Two years coaching and/or swim teaching experience - Current Employee Bluecard - Current First Aid - Current CPR - Driver’s License - Australian citizenship or permanent residence status (If you do not meet the above criteria, but have the ability to rapidly acquire the required qualifications and skills and are passionate about swim coaching please call us to discuss what experience and qualifications you currently have) This is a paid part time role - with room for growth. For the right candidate there is the possibility to negotiate the hours and role offered. 10.01.2022 Very exciting day for the Club. Head Coach Kate and Sally Vagg have both been selected in this year's Queensland Swim Team. Both Sally and Kate will be going into camp over the School Holidays and than competing in a Qld V Qld meet. This is replacing the traditional National State Teams Event that had to be cancelled due to Covid. This is an awesome achievement for both Kate and Sally and a great reflection on the results our little club can achieve.

05.01.2022 Covid-19 Safety Restrictions and Re-Registration Day Due to the current positive cases of Covid-19 in the South East Corner the Queensland Government has announced restrictions on crowd gatherings. Crowd gathering outside of the South East Corner are capped at a maximum of 30 people. This will obviously cause some additional restrictions at today's re-registration. Re-registration will still go ahead between 12-3pm. *If unwell with any symptoms please do not attend. No one wi...ll miss out on a spot due to illness. If you can not attend due to illness email the squad coordinator your details and completed forms. *If possible delay your attendance to later in the event. *Maximum 30 people in the pool area at any time. *Every person entering the pool area will have to sign in and out *Sanitise your hands on entering and leaving the premises *If possible please leave children at home as they will count towards our maximum of 30 people. *Please have all paper work completed before arrival to limit time inside the pool complex *Maintain appropriate social distancing at all times, attempt to remain two big steps apart. *Please be patient with committee members we will process every one as quickly as possible. Once complete please leave the pool area promptly so the next person can enter. *Practice physical distancing as much as possible and: wash your hands regularly with soap and water, and use alcohol-based sanitiser avoid hugs, kisses and handshakes wherever possible keep at least 1.5 metres away, two big steps, from people you don’t live with. 03.01.2022 Boyne Tannum Bullets Swim Club is now accepting new members!!!!! We cater for all swimming abilities/levels. We provide Learn to Swim sessions and Competitive Squad Training programs for swimmers of all abilities from 4 years to adults. Book a trial with Head Coach Kate via Facebook Appointments on the Bullets Facebook Page. Appointments available every Mon/Wed/Fri between 3:10-4pm. Trial will be a simple 10 minute session to assess swimmer ability to allow allocation to an appropriate squad. For all queries please contact [email protected]
