25.01.2022 Hi Everyone it feels like the whole world is anxious at the moment and sadly it feels like people are disconnecting from eachother rather than connecting to support eachother. I've been inspired by the reaction in Italy, where all people are in quarantine, however they have been connecting by singing from their balconies. I have been thinking of making this page "interactive" where we can discuss DBT Skills what they are and how to use them, have Q&A's, share good books, vide...o and music suggestions, have funny distraction posts, and now more than ever I think is the time to do this. Let's join together and support eachother through a really tough time. Like this post if you think a more interactive page is a great idea And feel free to post any suggestions below that would help you out right now or if more comfortable msg the page. Take Care Nat

21.01.2022 A huge thank you to Andrew and The G Spot for helping us get the remaining 60 Self Soothing Kits down to Batemans Bay. They will hit the ground and be delivered next week. Poor Jaie we could only squash 40 into Cassie's car when she went home, so Andrew is helping out and getting the rest down there. 20.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS We will be starting a new ONLINE Dialectical Behaviour Skills Group in the last week of April. We will be doing the Distress Tolerance Skills Module of DBT. Our psychoeducational skills groups are a great way to learn, study, practice, and review skills and concepts from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in a supportive, non-judgmental, environment. Our Emotional Living Skills Group is based on a Mentor/Peer model and offers the Dialectical Behaviour Skills c...omponent only of the full DBT Therapy program. Our facilitator is comprehensively trained in DBT and co-facilitators have undertaken professional training in teaching DBT Skills. The program is highly structured and includes sessions dedicated to learning mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. We aim to keep our program affordable for those who need it. The cost of each 10-week module is $500 and payment plans are available. We also offer to subsidise those on low incomes and Centrelink payments. The program can also be funded under NDIS Plans. For more information on our Dialectical Behaviour Skills Program, or to register your interest, please send us an email to: [email protected]
