09.01.2022 6 PILLARS OF SELF-ESTEEM - LIVING CONSCIOUSLY e noise of others, the inner dialogue and stimuli in general is often a distraction technique for the most traumatised of us. We may oscillate between using it to distract from our screaming broken inner child and being completely withdrawn. But it is when we move from such a mindset and space physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally that, AS SCARY AS F as it is, we sit with ourselves and reprogram the old cycles that d...o not serve us. But without addressing will never leave us. If you're not already, I highly recommend setting aside 5 minutes aside in the morning and evening to simply start by practising gratitude and positive self talk. In the morning write your three top affirmations and goals. This sets you in place for a good start to your day. At the end of your day, note 3 things you were grateful for that day, things you did that you're either proud of or simply to begin to shift your mindset to one of being in it for the marathon not sprint Everyday we all achieve things we won't see as significant a day or month later. If we are not keeping track we will either under or over estimate actions or thoughts we consciously execute. THIS IS FOR THE REBOOT PHASE ONLY. It's the preview of the preview of what a thriving survivor has done to go from trauma to joy and power. You'll be a master of this eventually or you have been, you just need a nudge, reminder.
