13.01.2022 The day the chairs quit! In Stage 2, we have been working on persuasive writing. 3/4 Green came into class this morning to a letter from the classroom chairs saying that they had quit! They have had enough of students swinging on them, not being looked after and most importantly, not being tucked in! Students are working on an apology letter to give back to the chairs - hopefully the chairs will forgive us and come back soon!... Miss Woollard

11.01.2022 In Year 5 we have been working on Mathematical investigations for the last couple of weeks. We work on a mystery and in groups or pairs the students needs to solve a series of clues to solve the mystery. Today, the students had to work out who had stolen all of the tennis kits during a major tennis tournament. The kids have been loving this investigative learning and the collaborative work with others in order to problem solve a number of challenges. Ms Golding

09.01.2022 3/4 Green decided as a class to assist with the spreading of mulch around the Ninja Warrior equipment during fitness. All students loved getting their hands dirty and showed great team work. It ended with an icypole to celebrate a job well done. Mrs Woollard
