11.01.2022 Not shy of throwing the Stang around Barbagello Raceway Matt was chasing a bit more to push the Stang lap times into the 66 second or quicker long track times. Not bad for a streeter!!

10.01.2022 So Nick purchased the GTE with expectations of greatness and heart throbbing torque but the reality is that its power and torque levels were somewhat lacklustre to that of expectation. Adrenalin soon wore off and the endeavour for that next hit of power started. Now there would have to be a few hundred supercharged Stangs getting around Perth but at the end of the day they all generate around the same generic power as given with the supercharger kit. "Que BPT 850hp package..." - So in came the GTE and first thing to do was carry out a base power run just so we can compare gains. A supercharger pulley upgrade was installed pushing 2.3L head unit boost up 4 psi from 8psi to 12psi. The supplied injectors for the s/c kit were deemed to small and were soon replaced with 1000cc injectors and the pump in the tank was surely going to peg so a fuel pump booster was installed. Custom dyno tuning was done and base power levels went from 525 rwhp to 702rwhp and tipped 1000nm peak torque. A MyCalibrator interface holds numerous options of tune changes should Nick desire to do so whilst also allowing him to choose over 100 monitoring PIDs. All this was obtained with out cracking the engine open and it is still running factory exhaust manifolds and factory catylitic convertors. Now this is a GTE worthy of difference to that of the average supercharged Mustang!! See more
