11.01.2022 I came across this amazing graphic - besides the design ... it has really amazing content - check this out ... what words are you using? Did you know that if you start talking to yourself (out loud or in your mind alone) positive thoughts like "I can do this" .. "Look nearly there" - if you start speaking to yourself like your best cheerleader ... you will be surprised (pleasantly) at what you can achieve! 06.01.2022 We don't all speak the same language, have you noticed? English may be the way you predominantly communicate, however there are so many other ways in which you show love and FEEL like you have received love. Love is a two way experience ;) Whether it be a partner, friend, parent, child...we all communicate love in different ways, some of which feel more meaningful than others. I know that when people do acts of service for me, without being prompted, like my cousin washed my ...car the other day as an act of kindness, I was beyond grateful, I felt SO loved because he did that! Likewise if someone cooks me dinner just to be nice - that feels SO GOOD to me. Whereas - if someone bought me a piece of jewellery I would love and enjoy it, however it hasn't had the same effect as an experience, especially an experience that frees up my time (heaven!) I like to give love to my coaching and personal training clients by empowering them with knowledge, so that they won't always need me. I love teaching them how to be super humans in their every day lives - that's one way I love to gift love! So my question to you is - what makes you feel loved? In what ways do you like to love? And in what ways do you like to receive love? This is an awesome little explanation of the 5 Love Languages - an awesome book I still haven't read but use the principles of every day ;) Happy reading. Love, Marz x

05.01.2022 At this time of year we are called to rush, get things done and use our "yang" action energies to move us forward...however, remember that any signs of fatigue, imbalance, lack of commitment can be signs of "Yin" deficiency. And it can all be balanced out using some simple tricks like... Fall asleep before 10pm Sleep in a very dark room on an empty stomach Wake without an alarm clock every day... Limit screen time during the day, avoid it after 5pm Avoid rushing Take a nap every day Hydrate the body with water, limit caffeine, avoid coffee, forget soda exists Eat a fattening diet (full fat organic dairy, avocado, good oils, nuts, organic and local meats) Surround yourself with people you love Limit fearful moments (ie. caution around scary movies, driving in intense weather, being in crowded or loud places) Commute by walking or riding your bicycle Grow some of your own food Be in nature every day (easy for our Barefoot Tribe) Be out of cellphone range as often as possible Be in nature so deep you cant hear road noises as often as possible Participate in slow moving or still activities Meditate Create moments without any activity at all to just experience stillness Try not to think about work when not at work Stay fully in the present moment Practice gratitude Stay at home in the evening hours So if you're feeling a little out of balance - have a read here and see what resonates: http://www.windowofheavenacupuncture.com/nourish-the-yin/

04.01.2022 Read up on the Sacral Chakra the 2nd chakra (when counting from your base upwards) There is a lot to learn as different knowledge bases come together. There is more and more information available and you may find that somewhere in here something resonates. Are you feeling emotionally closed off? Do your hips feel tight?... Every time I sit in meditation with others they mention that they aren't confident they are doing it right...what if meditation was a state of being or a place where you don't have to do anything right, good or perfect....just go with it and see what happens? If you have one aim (for example to feel relaxed) then you achieve that aim, then you've already succeeded!
