24.01.2022 Introducing Dr Renee Forristal... Some of you may have already met Renee, who's been making her presence felt since the end of last year and is quietly building a following here at The Lower Limb Clinic. Graduating from La Trobe University in 2011, her skills include dry needling, orthotics, sports medicine and of course, all the other little things that make up a podiatrist. We're very happy she's chosen to join us on a permanent basis. ... You can book an appointment to see Renee directly on 9532 7455, or go online to www.thelowerlimbclinic.com.au Come and say hello!

24.01.2022 Just confirming, we will be OPEN on Friday 2nd October. We will not be closing the clinic for the Grand Final public holiday. To make an appointment online, go to www.braceyourselforthotics.com and click on the blue "book online now" button on any page, or call 9532-7455. For the next two weeks on Monday and Tuesday however, there are no patient treatment sessions available due to religious holidays. We will be offering extended hours on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to compensate for this. Hope to see you in the office!

24.01.2022 It was an absolute pleasure being on Dr Tyson Franklins podcast this week... really interesting chat about being a podiatrist today and some of the other things that make life worthwhile.... thanks for having me..

23.01.2022 Hi. We are OPEN. Here is what you need to know..

23.01.2022 I have no idea if these shoes are good for you, but here's something different for Monday morning.... https://www.facebook.com/nicola.ray/posts/10153389058741711

21.01.2022 Right now, were waiting for more instructions from the Victorian Government, but as of this evening, we are still OPEN. Podiatry is classified as an essential service and were taking all the usual high level precautions, however its not business as usual. We all need to help get the numbers down as fast as possible and get through this, so we are here for foot and ankle pain. We are here for injuries. We are here for ingrown nails and emergencies.. you get the idea. But if you simply want to visit the podiatrist because you go every eight weeks, were going to ask that you let us book you in for the projected end of stage 4 (obviously if things change and something starts to hurt, book in). We need to beat this. We will be there for you. Please stay safe.

Hopefully everything will be sorted out soon. Thank you for understanding. We'll take this post down once it's sorted out.

10.01.2022 Hi everyone, Welcome back to 2018. Over the next week, you'll see some exciting changes here as Brace Yourself becomes The Lower Limb Clinic and gets a fresh new look accordingly. You'll still be able to book online, reach us on the same numbers and be treated by the same people, but the new web address will become active shortly (you can still get to us by the old one for some time yet).... Hoping to see you soon. Enjoy the cool change this afternoon! Richard

10.01.2022 Just a quick update on the next six weeks. We remain open.

09.01.2022 Hi everyone, We are OPEN and we will stay open. However, there are a few important changes and I'l try and keep them short. Podiatry has been listed as an essential service. So when should you come and when should you not come? Here's a simple guide.... You SHOULD come if you are in pain. You SHOULD come if you have a problem that, if we didn't see it, would have you visiting your already overworked GP instead, like an ingrown nail or a sprained ankle. You SHOULD come if you have foot, ankle or knee pain. You SHOULD come if you've had a foot or ankle injury. You SHOULD NOT come if you are UNWELL, or have RETURNED FROM OVERSEAS on or after March 15, or have been in CLOSE CONTACT with someone who has been diagnosed with CoViD-19. Arrange a telephone consult instead. You SHOULD NOT come for an appointment to tell us everything is going well, like an orthotic review, if it can be done by telephone or computer instead. It's not that we don't want to see you, but social distancing is important and that includes unnecessary visits. You SHOULD NOT come if it's a scheduled, routine visit that can wait a couple of weeks and you simply have free time now. We will be very happy to see you then and if you call us, we'll make you an appointment for April. Again, PLEASE DON'T STAY AWAY IF YOU NEED US. If there are any doubts, call us on 9532-7455 to discuss it with us first, email us at [email protected] or if you're coming in, book online at www.thelowerlimbclinic.com.au It goes without saying that all of our infection control measures remain in place. We may also ask you to remain in your car until your appointment time, to avoid unnecessary contact in the reception area and we will be spacing out appointments. Hand sanitiser is available as soon as you enter the office and we would really like you to use it. Stay well people. We hope to see you soon.
