The weather will be perfect, the sausages delicious and the trains running full steam.. c'mon down Trains run 9.30am to 2.30pm at McPherson Park, Denham Street, Bracken Ridge. Also come and enter our FREE raffle. A Great hamper is up to be won!! ... A face painter will also be attending the day.. So everyone get your LION faces on !!

14.01.2022 June 17th 2016 - The Bracken Ridge Central Lions club held its annual change over dinner at the Bracken Ridge Tavern. MC for the night was Lion Jason Sutton and the induction formalities were completed by PDG Des Sawyer. Also in attendance was Brisbane City Councillor for Bracken Ridge Ward - Amanda Cooper. The evening was enjoyed by all Introducing the new Board Members: (From Left) Past President - Peter Guy, Tail Twister - Alan Ward, VP Membership - Val Klauke, President -... Keith Gridley, Secretary - Gloria Prideaux, Lion Tamer - Bill Taylor, Director 2yr - Marion Gridley, VP Community Service - Michael Green, VP Events and Publicity Officer - Jason Sutton. Not present but part of the 2016/2017 Board. Director 1yr - Geoff Minniss, Treasurer - Neil O'Sullivan, and VP Trains - Graham Titman. We wish the board all the best for the next twelve months

07.01.2022 Is it that time already... TRAIN DAY !!!!... Come along this coming Sunday to McPherson Park, Denham Street, Bracken Ridge for another fantastic Steam and Electric Train day. This being our Anniversary weekend we will have Steve Malone along to judge the Steam Locos. Steve has been building miniature locos since 1980, and accordingly has a substantial knowledge of how locos should look. It will be a great day.
