23.01.2022 The Brownies and Guides had a great time on camp this weekend with our friends from Aspley District Girl Guides! We also went on a great outing to City Chicks - it was a great day and we learned a lot. Cant wait for the next camp!

21.01.2022 Good evening, We need your help! The girls missed out on the regional shows and EKKA this year due to COVID-19, so we are putting on a small show as our breakup on Wednesday night. ... There will be sideshow alley, food, games and of course an art show! This is where we need your help. We need to gather some votes to help us decide a winner. We have had 6 entries which range from paintings to a sketch (of who I have been told are three people from Twilight(?)) and one girls vision of what we do at guides. Each entry has been numbered and we are asking if you could please indicate your vote using the correspondingly numbered poll below. Please feel free to share this to your page, but you will need to advise people that they have to physically come to this page to vote. Okay, just realised that Facebook will only allow 2 poll options and now facebook isn't allowing me to add photos to any polls. For now, please just write your vote in the comments section till we can find a workaround. Sorry for the confusion - thanks Facebook!! 18.01.2022 Many thanks to Grant and his team at Salus Group who kindly donated 5 litres of hospital grade hand sanitizer to each district in Brisbane North Region. This will go a long way to helping with the hand hygiene of the girls when we recommence our face to face meetings this week.

10.01.2022 Did you know that it's National Volunteers Week? Our volunteers include our unit leaders, support group members, district and region leaders, region committee members (these are your hardworking unit leaders) all the way up to State Commissioners. Our amazing volunteer unit leaders do more than just "turn up" on a meeting night for 2 hours. There are district meetings, preparation and research for programming the unit nights, training days, training courses, meetings about... camp, region meetings (if required), preparing for camp, filling out paperwork (oh the paperwork!), organising maintenance and cleaning of huts... the list is endless... and this is all done out of your leaders personal time, away from their families, as they want to give back to the community and change lives! THANK YOU TO ALL OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS IN GUIDING
