25.01.2022 Sorry Bracken Ridge. There will be no train day this month (June). We must stay safe and healthy. BUT we might have a surprise next month. Watch this space!

22.01.2022 TRAINS ARE FINALLY BACK! Sunday 26th July 9 am to 12 pm. In this new COVID-19 norm please be patient as we adopt new process inline with regulations.... You will see enhanced cleaning of trains after each trip We ask that you consider the below before attending: - Stay at home if unwell - Stay home if you have been in contact with any person who is positive for COVID-19 or has recently been tested - Stay home if you or anyone in your residence are in a 14 day lock down due to returning from overseas, Victoria or a declared COVID-19 Hotspot. We do have first aid onsite and anybody who looks unwell will be reviewed and possibly refused entry. We will do our best to ensure social distancing is maintained but do self monitor physical distancing While queuing for trains we will record your contact details inline with current regulations Use hand sanitizer, this will be available at the track. UPDATE: There will be no markets or band this month! Most of all bring a smile and get ready for an amazing day We look forward to seeing you there.

21.01.2022 Train Day. TRAIN DAY. YES TRAIN DAY THIS SUNDAY!!!!!!! COME ONE COME ALL DONT COME WITH COVID... THEY CANT RIDE ON THE TRAIN! Bracken Ridge Scouts will cook up a storm on the BBQ.. BUT MAYBE A SORRY AS WE STRUGGLE TO FIND A COFFEE VAN! We will have coke or maybe a handful.of Nescafe Blend 43 to chew on!!! We are a covid safe event so you will need to register and maintain a safe distance of at least 1.5 klm.. or is it 1.5 m it c hanges to often but saw you on Sunday!!!! Spread the word the love but not covid!!!

Please post a smiley face if you would still attend train day or a sad face if you are inclined to give it a miss due to the current threat of coronavirus. Please be honest as we want to ensure the community comes first.

10.01.2022 Due to the new govt regulations regarding COVID-19 that came into effect at 8am today train day needs to be cancelled "Gatherings in public spaces must be limited to a maximum of 100 people within one group." 09.01.2022 Once again i come to you with news that once again we have to cancel train day for September. This is again a very tough decision and whilst it relates to COVID-19 its also out of interest for our members. We are committed to OCTOBER! we have developed our Covid safe plan, we will be regularly cleaning the carriages, we will be wearing and encourage the general public to wear a suitable face mask. A batman mask is not suitable LOL! We will ensure that we adopt social distancing. All of this whilst having lots of fun. We will have a sausage sizzle! The weather is getting warmer so lets get outside and enjoy it! Stay safe and Healthy!

08.01.2022 Dear Train Day Family, Whilst we are still in a state of lock-down we will again need to cancel April Train Day. I know the trains are getting anxious to go for a run! But in the interest of public safety and to flatten the curve this is the only course of action! We must also update that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the Annual Backyard Bonanza celebration normally held on May Train Day! BUT don't worry when everything calms down we will hold an amazing Bracken Ridge Celebration! It will be BIGGER than HUGE* *It may not be bigger than huge, but will be pretty awesome

07.01.2022 Sorry guys! Due to the storm activity it's not safe for Santa to come out. We will make sure he comes around next week. Also thanks for all the requests for locations we will post a schedule over the weekend!

07.01.2022 Dear Train Day Community. As you can probably appreciate our May Train Day will not be going ahead. We are super keen to get things rolling again but only when it is safe to do so. At the moment it's likely we will resume trains for our August Train Day. We do though have our fingers crossed that we can possibly start in July!. Stay Safe and we look forward to seeing you soon.
