19.01.2022 Doing our bit to minimise the risk of a potential Covid-19 outbreak by limiting outside/public exposure to family and health professional visitors only until further notice. All other visitations will be by appointment only and approved by the on-site manager prior to arrival...thank you for your co-operation while we get through this pandemic.
18.01.2022 NDIS registration is on the way. Certification against the NDIS practise standards will be assessed and audited over the next few weeks. This will be facilitated by independent auditors CAA to ensure we are registered at the highest standards applicable within all our registration groups. When we have the tick we will be an NDIS Registered Provider offering support services for all the registration groups able to support not only our own residents but the wider community as well (Australia wide)
17.01.2022 Check this out!! Our new website in readiness to provide support services in a few weeks time...just have to wait for the Auditors to complete the Stage 2 audit in early June... https://linqsupport.com.au/
14.01.2022 Natalie Maro creative design has finalised our new look business promo gear Road sign, DL flyer and Business cards we reckon Nat deserves a nice big fat 10 for this effort we love the new look she has created for us!!
12.01.2022 Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). After more thorough consideration and consultation regarding our obligations around SDA, I have added it to our suit of armour for registration. I prepared and lodged the required documents such as a new and specific SDA Accommodation Agreement along with a stand-alone Policy and Procedure and other collaboration documents also required. I have started planning the refurbishment process of 6 Gore Street with the landlord and we will be able to provide this service once registration comes through and the house project work is completed.
09.01.2022 OPEN for business!! Stage 2 audit went very well and is now complete. The auditor found us to be ready to provide support services and will write up the report for the NDIS Commission and recommend Linq Support Limited for registration. We are now approved to start and are commencing support services by interviewing our residents at Bracker House with regards to their NDIS support packages and future goals & plans

04.01.2022 ANZAC day calls for giving some time and serious words of gratitude to all the people that made sacrifices along the way so we could live in the free and beautiful country we call Australia. It also calls for serious ANZAC biscuits which our residents whipped off the cooking trays before they even cooled down...10 points to the chef at Bracker for putting these up today!
02.01.2022 Announcement! ‘both our Manager of NDIS Services and Team Leader positions have been filled’ Well, what a laborious road to NDIS registration this has been with many dead-end forks although we have discovered lots of hidden gems along the way. Whichever way you look at it we have all grown as a team and much wiser for the registration process, which has been a very busy 6 months in the making. Our team is well-prepared and ready to launch the new brand Linq Support Services w...ith a very clear understanding of our NDIS provider obligations in the key areas involving: Business continuity NDIS Code of Conduct NDIS Practice Standards Conditions of registration Risk management Notifying the NQSC of certain events including your ability to deliver ongoing supports to NDIS participants. We are very excited to introduce to you our first Manager of NDIS Services Mark Brennan and our first Team Leader Stacey Stocker. Mark will work closely with the Local Area Coordinators, Plan Managers, and all the Specialist Support Services to assist Stacey and our support workers in planning the participants NDIS support packages with all the choice and control they deserve. Mark has a lifetime of experience in business management in the disabilities sector and was recently the NDIS Services Manager for KBH Enterprises providing oversight and support for 15 support workers and 35 participants in the KBH facility providing furniture upgrade services. Team Leader Stacey Stocker will provide direct oversight and support to our support workers as they deliver the support services for our participants. Stacey is level 4 qualified in disabilities, has 5 years’ experience in the field as a support worker, and also brings with her extensive NDIS administration experience. Stacey was providing administrative duties for a local well-established NDIS Provider before her appointment with Linq Support. Are we ready? YES, WE ARE!!
02.01.2022 https://www.charitybay.org/donate-item/58903 Check this out!! A really cool way to move that still useful item that has been collecting cobwebs for a while. You donate the item which gets auctioned on CharityBay (similar to eBay) and 95% of the auction proceeds goes to the charity.
01.01.2022 Effective Policy consultant Gina assisted us through the NDIS registration process firstly ensuring that we had all the modules that we needed for the support s...ervices we wanted to provide. Gina has an incredible depth of knowledge not only about the disabilities sector to assist us as an operator but also how to navigate the enormous NDIS registration process. We were supplied with current Policies and Procedures, Forms for participants and staff, Tracking systems for future reviews and audits, and everything right to the pointy end of the stick through this process including preparation for the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Audits which were both 100% successful. This was all thanks to Gina as we absolutely could not have found our way to being registered without her expertise and energy to get things done in a very timely manner that unfolded. I would recommend Gina from Effective Policy to anyone going through this process as you will succeed in registration if you follow Gina's advice to the 'T' and you will also be very much enriched with the knowledge you will need to succeed in your new business post-registration as a Provider.
