25.01.2022 After nearly 30 years of playing guitar, I’ve realized the Fuzz Face is an essential tool that allows me to play dynamically and express myself creatively. So I’m pretty excited that this Fuzz Face built for me by Aaron at Dominon Fuzz will be another texture for me to explore and make music with. I actually watched him wire it up this morning on Instagram live!! For all the fuzz heads out there, it’s a ‘68 model with CV7003 germanium transistors for temperature stability and consistency. Can’t wait!!

24.01.2022 I had this Ibanez Bass come in that had been dropped and had shattered around the input jack. I have to say it was a pretty satisfying process to get it all back together and also touch up the finish. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

23.01.2022 I finished up wiring this pickguard that will be used in an upcoming Strat build. Can’t wait to hear the hand wound Sweet ‘62 pickups by JJ’s Pickups in South Australia.

20.01.2022 I completed my first refinishing project this morning on this MIJ alder Stratocaster body, which I finished in Sonic Blue nitrocellulose lacquer. I’ll post more detailed photos after assembly but I’m really pleased with how it turned out. Scroll through for the before photos. When it came to me, someone had painted over the existing 3 tone sunburst finish using thick black house paint.

13.01.2022 I finished up the final polishing and assembly on this Burny Bass that came to me with a pretty bad break. It was really hard to hide the scar with the burst finish on the back, so I opted for a solid finish instead.

08.01.2022 Here’s a head crack I finished off this morning on the Washburn. It involved a bit of touch up colour work and I’m really please with how it turned out.

03.01.2022 I completed the assembly and set up work this afternoon after refinishing this Japanese SRV Stratocaster. When it came to me, it was finished in thick black house paint, and someone had also taken to the back of the neck with sandpaper. In both cases, the work was carried out with a certain degree of aggression. Scroll through to check out all the before and after photos. I’m happy to say it has been given a new lease on life with the neck being refinished in a dark vintage amber, and the body refinished in sonic blue nitrocellulose lacquer. I’m really pleased with how it turned out.
