24.01.2022 We’re home now, but I still want to pretend we haven’t left. Already looking forward to being back in May. :)
22.01.2022 Swipe to see full pic. Cant wait to be back here in May :) @photosplitapp @fijimarriottresortmomibay @ Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay
21.01.2022 Here it is you guys! Zoom Westie Fest! 2020! I was honored that Ben Morris had me as the official photographer haha! I took about 400 screenshots, and they're all on my site. Of course they're free...they're just pixelated screenshots. But if you feel the urge to hit the "buy" button and support, I can't stop you. :) But do be sure to spread the word about how much fun you had doing this amazing online event! It truly was something special. Already excited for Zoom We...stie Fest 2! www.bradfordwhelan.com/Dance/Zoom-Westie-Fest-2020
21.01.2022 It's been awhile since I've been able to attend Seattle Easter Swing, but I thought I'd go back through my photos and find a few gems. These are from 2013 and 2014. I really loved this event. :) Hopefully in future years, I'll be able to make it work and come back. For now, enjoy these memories. :)
21.01.2022 Another great event we missed out on recently was @5280 Westival. I was fortunate enough to be there for the very first edition of 5280 almost ten years ago, when there were only about 80 people. It was awesome to watch it grow, but even cooler to see how it still felt like a family event, despite its size. These pics are from 5280 2013, which was one of my all-time favorite events. I'm realizing just how much fun it is to go through and see everyone 7 years younger. Seeing old partnerships that we had forgotten about, and seeing people we wish were still dancing. Really love this event and all the people that put it together. :)
20.01.2022 Thinking back on Chicago Classic 2016. This was the last one I went to, and it really was outstanding. One of the best events of 2016.
20.01.2022 It feels absolutely amazing to travel again. Since we can’t go far, it’s even more amazing that this #bucketlist place is in Queensland! Definitely more pictures of this paradise to come, but I wanted to post one that shows exactly how we felt when we realized we were truly on vacation again!
16.01.2022 Beach time in the party shirt :) #intercontinentalhaymanisland @intercontinentalhaymanisland
13.01.2022 Water is beautiful, weather is perfect, and there is not a soul on the beach. Crazy. Oh well! #privatebeach for us!
12.01.2022 Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 2016. Since we can't have events right now, we might as well give them some love. I'm going to try to post shots of every event I've shot that isn't able to happen this year. First up is BTP. These are from 4 years ago, the last time I was able to attend this wonderful crossover event. Feel free to tag away! www.BradfordWhelan.com
02.01.2022 Oh Asia Open how I missed you so!!!! Without a doubt, this event is consistently one of the absolute can't miss events of the year. Everyone who comes from overseas immediately falls in love with Singapore, the city, its culture, and most importantly, the Singaporeans. They are the most energetic group of people I think I've ever seen at a dance event, going off their faces for the Pro-Am JnJ and almost every one of them staying up to dance till 7, then get up at 10 for their workshop. The year I'm posting is 2017...the Disney year. This year solidified Asia Open as a must-see event, and for me...I had one of the best dances of my life with Jessica Pacheco to Frozen, even after Diego Borges almost stole the show by ripping his shirt off to a Hercules song. So bummed it didn't happen this year, but already excited for next year!
02.01.2022 Love this one as well. #fijimarriott
01.01.2022 Two images that I really felt encapsulated the combined feelings of the protesters at last week’s rally in Brisbane. So much frustration that has turned into rage, and at the same time a gentle yet desperate plea for us to continue to acknowledge and work to end this struggle, even if many of us will never truly understand what that struggle is. #BlackLivesMatter @ South Bank Police Station
