This year Bradken and our people are again supporting the Movember Foundation and the men in our lives who need us more than ever. 2020 has been a good year for the moustache, with many of us having spent time at home as a result of COVID-19 and taking the opportunity to let the facial follicles grow freely! Unfortunately, it’s not been such a good year for men’s mental health, with research conducted by the Movember Foundation showing that many men around the world are struggling. 20.01.2022 Our foundry in Mont-Joli, Canada recently held a family open day. More than 300 partners, children, siblings and parents of our employees toured the site to get a better understanding of our operations and their loved ones' work environment. All necessary measures were taken to ensure that COVID-19 social distancing and hygiene requirements were adhered to and a great day was had by all!

11.01.2022 Heroes for a half shell! Members of the site maintenance crew at our Wodonga foundry in Australia recently came to the rescue of an Australian eastern long-necked turtle that had made it's way into a machinery pit. The crew acted quickly gathering the turtle and checking on it's welfare before releasing it in the creek at the rear of the site.

09.01.2022 Congratulations to Rachel Taylor and Clint Russ from our Bassendean, WA manufacturing facility who recently participated in the 2020 MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research. While COVID-19 changed the format of the ride this year to more of a personal challenge, we were proud to support both riders as they took on their version of the 200km, two day ride, raising much needed funds for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
