14.01.2022 Ahoy there viewer( s ) . .. For anyone keen to hear my reprisal of Slow Boat To China / House of the Rising Son & Shine on Harvest Moon . . . Tomorrow night I’...ll be bangin & twangin at Bradman RIVERHOUSE 5 - 8pm . . . A SUNSET BLUES SESSION with Single Fin 4.4% . . .Today at POMONA COUNTRY MARKET Captain Tricko & his LOW RENT ORCHESTRA was joined by Lee Wilson ( on lap steel ) for some ragtime disco to the punters . . . 3 hours of it . . . My first market gig in a longtime & stoked to have Leroy’s fine guitar voice punctuating my loop soup . . . We were’nt loud enough apparently . . . Such is Life !!! And further to the future of busking I could not believe the generosity of Mooloolaba walkers on Thursday as my guitar case became festooned with $5s $10s & $20 notes . . . Also my first time out on the street in a while . . . I’ve been surfing and paddling a lot during the last few months . . . the COVID has cleared the dance floor for now so surfing & time in the ocean seems a bit more socially responsible . . . unless the sharks get under yer skin . . . I’m fortunate this winter to have ridden a lot of nice waves from Ballina to Noosa . . . Your writer was in the water at Greenmount earlier on the day a surfer died from shark bite injury . . . Life is Precious people so live it up and look after others . . . & Keep on Larfin See more

01.01.2022 From 1am on Thursday, October 1, we’re increasing the number of people who can gather at venues and events, as long as it’s outdoors. It means businesses l...ike outdoor dining, beer gardens, theme parks and zoos, can increase the number of patrons outdoors from one per 4 square metres to one per 2 square metres. The maximum number of attendees permitted at events with a COVID Safe Checklist will increase from 500 to 1,000 per day. Seated capacity at outdoor stadiums, amphitheatres and outdoor performance venues with a COVID Safe Plan can increase from up to 50% to up to 75%. More information is suggesting that outdoor gatherings are safer. But it is still important that Queenslanders remain vigilant. Stay 1.5 metres away from other peoplethink two big steps Wash your hands lots with soap and water, or hand sanitizer Sneeze or cough into your arm or a tissue. Then put the tissue in the bin.
