25.01.2022 A big thank you to Dale McKay and his team at IGA Stockton and their community, for raising $322 towards the BRADNELL fundraising, with their sausage sizzle gold coin donation over the weekend. Also another reminder about our huge Xmas raffle worth over $4,000 (25 prizes). You can buy tickets online at bradnellmemorial.com.au... Just head to the Raffle page in the menu and follow the links. Also you can buy tickets at our participating venues also listed on the Raffles page. Online sales will stop at Close of Business (5.00pm) on Wednesday 19/12/18, and tickets will only be eligible if monies have been received before the draw commences, or proof of deposit can be shown, all venue sales will cease at last drinks Thursday 20/12/18, except for Warner’s Bay Hotel where you can purchase tickets right up until 6.50pm, 10 minutes before the draw, Friday 21/12/18 at 7.00pm. Come along and celebrate what has been a great fundraising effort to date, and hopefully we can reach our target of $20k. Hope to see as many people as possible for a bit of Xmas cheer, and a Xmas drink or 3. Cheers

25.01.2022 Hey all I have some special thank you’s for our 2 wonderful events. For the Golf Day we’d like to thank Ash Harrison (NRL),Glen Nissen (NRL), Daniel Abraham (NRL)Tim Brasher (NRL)Steve Coulter (Kellogg’s Iron Man series) and Nick Melmeth (Inglis Racing) for attending our event and giving us some ‘Star Power’. Nisso and Ash also attended the Race Day and presented some of our Auction items, and Nisso also got us the 2 Bulldogs jumpers that went very well in the Auction. Tim Br...asher and Nick Melmeth facilitated in the procurement of the NSW jersey signed by Brasher, Elias and Sironen. A special shout out to Mat King from the Roosters, who after a one off chance meeting in Yamba procured us the Cooper Cronk Signed shirt, Mal Smith for getting us the Eels jumper through his nephew Will and the Titans jumper through Garth Brennan. Also on the Race Day Craig Kimmorley who presented the Roosters item, to Kody Wheelhouse the Knights cheerleader for presenting the Knights jumper, and a big thank you to the 3 lovely W-League Jets Stars, Cassidy Davis, Jenna Kingsley and Hannah Brewer for presenting the Women’s and Men’s Jets jerseys and the Matilda’s jersey donated by another Star Larissa Crummer, and especially Cass who organised all the Jets and Matilda’s memorabilia. And finally our MC and Auctioneer Glen Hawke, FOX presenter and commentator amongst other things, who done a great job. Talk about bringing ‘Star Power’ to an event, most of whom are locals or who now live here. I sincerely thank each and everyone of you. It’ll be a great night to raise some extra funds for the 2 Charities we are supporting, beyondblue and the Calvary Mater Newcastle. Plus it’ll be a chance for friends and family to share in some Xmas joy and have a few Xmas drinks. Hope to see everyone there!

You can buy them online at bradnellmemorial.com.au ( go to raffles in the menu) Or you can head to participating venues- Toronto Golf Shop, Great Northern Hotel Teralba, Teralba Bowling Club, Warners Bay Hotel and later today Shinnies Hotel Boolaroo and The Duke of Wellington and they will also be available at IGA Stockton on Monday. 25 prizes over $4,000 in value,... $5 a ticket. To be drawn at 7.00pm on Friday 21st of December at Warners Bay Hotel. It’ll be a great night to finish our fundraising efforts and have a Xmas drink and remember 2 great men. We need to sell about 10 x 100 ticket books, to go past the $20,000 mark, that’s over $10k each for both beyondblue and the Calvary Mater Newcastle, if we reach our goal. ... 08.01.2022 Hey all our final event of the weekend the Charity Auction Race Day Lunch went off with a bang. Over 150 attendees had a fabulous day of racing, raffles, Auctions, fine food and cold beverages. The Auction items went for over $7000 dollars combined. With about 40 raffle items, everyone had a fair chance of collecting a prize. Race 6 was even named the BRADNELL Memorial Maiden Handicap. Everyone had a great day and to the Pennell and Bradley families I hope you take away some ...beautiful memories. To everyone who donated, sponsored, assisted in anyway we all thank you very much for your support. As you all know the events were to raise awareness about Men’s Health and Mental Health, sadly these issues won’t go away, and we need to continue to pursue our cause. So next year we will be back and we’ll aim to make both days bigger and better. So to all of you who attended and sponsored we’d love to have you back again next year. We will set some dates early in the New Year, to give people plenty of time to get involved. As for what funds we have raised, we are still waiting on final invoices, and final payments, which should be in by the end of the week. Once finalised we will let everyone know what we raised for each of the 2 wonderful charities beyondblue and the Calvary Mater Newcastle. Once again a big thank you to everyone who attended and assisted in the 2 great events. You guys made it very special for both the Pennell and Bradley families. Cheers See more

07.01.2022 Hey everyone, there’s less then 36 hours to go to purchase tickets online for the first BRADNELL Xmas raffle. Online purchases will cease at 5.00pm 19/12/18, and monies must be received before the raffle commences or proof of deposit is shown. Tickets will still be available until last’s drinks are called at Teralba Hotel, Teralba Bowling Club, Shinnies Hotel Boolaroo and the Duke of Wellington on 20/12/18, they’ll be available until 9.00am 21/12/18 at IGA Stockton, until 10.00am 21/12/18 at Toronto Golf Pro Shop and will be available right up until 6.50pm Friday 21/12/18 at the Warners Bay Hotel where our amazing raffle will be held. I hope to see you all there to raise money for a great cause and to have a few Xmas celebrations.

03.01.2022 I want to give a big shout out to Dale McKay and his team at IGA Stockton. Today and tomorrow between 11.00 and 1.00pm Dale and the team are putting on a sausage sizzle with a gold coin donation, to celebrate their Grand Re-Opening which includes a full new fit out and a new BottleShop, which looks great. All donations received will go to the BRADNELL fundraising efforts supporting beyondblue and the Calvary Mater Newcastle. So if you’re in the area call in and and see Dale and his team, grab a sausage ‘sanga’ and have a look around their wonderful new premises. Cheers

03.01.2022 Hey all there’s been a slight hiccup with our posters for our Xmas Raffle and as such tickets won’t be available at the Duke of Wellington or IGA Stockton until after lunch on Tuesday. All other venues listed on the website are now selling tickets as well as our online ticket sales. I hope to see as many people as possible at Warners Bay Tavern on Friday 21st December for the big draw and to have a Xmas drink or 3, and celebrate our fundraising efforts for 2 wonderful Charities beyondblue and the Calvary Mater Newcastle. 02.01.2022 Hey all we are still waiting on some auction money to be paid. Those that still owe could you make the payments to the BRADNELL account on the website. We have some exciting news! The BRADNELL team is happy to announce that due to the generosity and kindness of a lot of people and business’, we have a few items left over from our 2 fabulous events, that we are having the BRADNELL Xmas Raffle. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, online and in a number of venues who have suppo...rted us. It will be drawn at 7.00pm on Friday the 21st December at Warners Bay Hotel. There is 25 prizes valued at over $4,000. $5.00 a ticket! Prizes and other information will be on the website by tomorrow night. I will let everyone know via Facebook when the tickets are ready to buy. Also on the Race Day a W-League signed Jets Jersey (undreamed in a bag) has been misplaced or accidentally picked up by someone, if anyone knows the where snouts could you please contact the Bradley or Pennell families or the BRADNELL team. One more the W-League Jets play at No.2 Sportsground tomorrow night at 7.30pm, so get along and support our Stars who supported the BRADNELL events. Talk soon Cheers See more
