21.01.2022 Are you looking at 2021 to be married?? If you haven’t booked your wedding date for 2021 now would be a good time to get the ball rolling! Don’t delay as most of my 2020 couples moving their dates to 2021, dates are disappearing quickly.
20.01.2022 What a cracking Saturday at Buttai Barn! Jo and Mathew, Thankyou both soooo much! It was 46 degrees during the arvo, luckily some shade had spread over the ceremony area by start time, at a guess maybe 38/40 degrees when Jo was escorted down the isle by her Dad.. Not a dry eye in the house when these guys exchanged vows.. they were beautiful heartfelt words, no googled nonsense but pure emotion from the heart! There were some laughs, tears, cheers and wow moments. ... What a privilege to be able to officiate and marry such an amazing couple... Thanks again Jo and Mat.. p.s you guys have awesome families! I haven’t laughed that much at a wedding.. See more
19.01.2022 Sami and Blake... what a magic arvo! You guys were a hoot! Thanks for having me.. Ettalong Diggers, a bunch of crazies, Tim Jones photography and me. I think my aching face muscles from smiling so much have finally settled down..
18.01.2022 Jacquie and Mitch Thankyou both so very much. It was nice to see so many familiar faces today! Thank you for allowing me the privilege of announcing your pregnancy during the ceremony!
18.01.2022 SERIOUS - COVID-19 Update (or you could just watch Brad’s and my live post, that will have you laughing at us ) The PM has made his announcement on the PR...OPOSED changes to restrictions. Each State will determine if they implement/amend/decline the proposed changes based on where their State sits with their recovery. ONLY the States have the power to implement any changes based on the Commonwealth suggestions. Believe me, I am so looking forward to doing full weddings again - currently for NSW as of 3pm on the 8th May it is still 5 only. I will post as soon I hear of changes. Kate
13.01.2022 Covid restrictions.... I won’t give up my day time job! Terrible actors
12.01.2022 I can highly recommend The Bath House, perfect gardens, perfect wedding venue.

08.01.2022 For anyone who has been in this boat this year!
08.01.2022 Excited to be able to offer this amazing deal! Have you been waiting years to get married, because money always gets in the way? If you said YES... why wait any longer? Well this very well could suit you! I'm offering my "Legals Only Ceremony" at the lowest price I have EVER offered.... here is the catch... you must be available to complete the legal paperwork at least one month before you want to be married and then be available to be married BEFORE 14th March 2020. All other standard 'getting married' T&C's also apply! TAG YOUR FRIENDS....
06.01.2022 Firstly, congratulations to Simone and Mitchell on your wedding today, the weather held out for you and the afternoon was magic. Thankyou both for allowing me the privilege of performing your ceremony today! Secondly, if your after a fantastic venue that is easily accessible from Sydney, Central Coast or Newcastle, have a look at The Bath House Garden at Oakhampton ( just outside Maitland ). Perfect, intimate gardens that present magnificently! Thirdly great catching up with Jenna from Ella Bella - Cookies & Cupcakes, it’s always nice to bump into a buddy unexpectedly! And JPannowitz Photography, a pleasure working with you again, and finally Andrew from Kombi Event Hire, always nice talking cars!
02.01.2022 When I get an enquiry from a couple, often they will ask what is included - Which including the normal things you would expect from a celebrant eg: the legals also includes a personalised bespoke, non stuffy, not boring ceremony, that includes some giggles as well as some naww moments... A ceremony tailored to suit you! Sometimes couples will then go on to ask do I include chairs, red carpet, signing table, decorations, the kitchen sink, you get the drift... The answers to th...ose questions is a big fat NO! Why not? After all some celebrants do... Well that's because I'm great at being a celebrant! That means the legal stuff for you to be married and a brilliant ceremony that will start your wedding off in the right way. You choose me as your celebrant because you don't want a celebrant like the rest - you want something more than that, you put a high priority on a really great ceremony that's going to reflect you and your partner. A ceremony that your friends and family come up to you and say it was the best ceremony and you know what? it's good idea to leave the decorating to the professionals in this area!
