24.01.2022 Corona Virus Protection. For your safety and protection, we are taking all possible actions to prevent the spread of this virus. Staff have been briefed on measures to be introduced including the regular cleaning of door handles, push plates, gaming machines, SSTs and any other frequently handled items. Customers are encouraged to follow WHO advice in relation to hand washing, while staff have been instructed to redouble their own hand washing and sanitizing routines. 22.01.2022 Due to the current restrictions, we have reluctantly made the decision to cancel all 2020 functions and to stop taking bookings for 2021 for the foreseeable future. Please also remember that the maximum table booking is for 10 people. It is an uncertain and frustrating time for both our customers and ourselves but we are doing all we can to keep in line with the constantly changing rules. We look forward to the time that we can fully open up all of our areas and welcome funct...ions back to the venue. Thank you for your support and understanding.

18.01.2022 Thank you to everybody enquiring if we will be opening today. Unfortunately, we are not at that point yet. We are constantly monitoring the situation and we are hoping to open the doors again soon. The downtime, we have been doing a bit of decorating, tweaking the menus and trying to teach Gaz some English(hes not really getting it though) See you soon!!!

17.01.2022 WE ARE RE-OPENING!!! From Monday morning we will re-open our doors. We will be operating within government guidelines and have limited capacity. Booking ahead is highly recommended, as once we hit capacity we cannot allow anybody else in. ... We cannot accept a booking of more than 10 people and functions etc are currently on hold. Our Bar, TAB, Gaming and Bottleshop areas will be open from 10am until 10pm Sunday - Wednesday and 10am-11pm Friday and Saturday. 05.01.2022 It is a sad day at Bradys as we say goodbye to these two legends. Between them they have amassed 60 years at the pub. For 42 years Chrissie has been the mainstay of the front bar. Quick with a beer and some gentle abuse, she will be sadly missed by staff and customers alike. Rosie has been here for 18 years. She has trained countless uni students in the ways of hospitality and is known by everybody that frequents the Bradys Bistro. Enjoy your retirement ladies, Bradys will be a poorer place without you!!!

04.01.2022 THE LOCKDOWN CHRONICLES.... Day 1: I Can Do This! I have enough food and wine to last a month! Day 2: Package of Rice: Some have 1210 grains, some have 1235 grains. Who knew?... Day 3: 8 pm. I removed my Day Pajamas and put on my Night Pajamas. Day 4: Opening my 8th bottle of wine. I fear wine supplies might not last. Day 5: I tried to make hand sanitizer. It came out as Jello Shots! Day 6: I get to take the garbage out. Im so excited! I cant decide what to wear. Day 7: Laughing way too much at my own jokes! Day 8: Went to a new restaurant called The Kitchen. You have to gather all the ingredients and make your own meal. I have no clue how this place stays in business. Day 9: I put liquor bottles in every room. Tonight, Im getting dressed up and going bar hopping. Day 10: Struck up a conversation with a spider today. Seems nice. Hes a Web Designer. Day 11: Isolation is hard. I swear my fridge just said, What the hell do you want now? Day 12: I realize why dogs get so excited about something moving outside, going for walks or car rides. I think I just barked at a squirrel. Day 13: Anybody else feel like theyve cooked dinner about 395 times this week? Day 14: Watched the birds fight over a worm. The Cardinals beat the Blue Jays 3 to one. Day 15: If you keep a glass of wine in each hand, you cant accidentally touch your face. Cant wait to see what the rest of the month brings!!!

02.01.2022 In an effort to promote Social Distancing, we will be offering table service in the beer garden and pavilion on Friday and Saturday nights. Order your meals and drinks at the table and we will bring them out to you. We do ask that you paypass as much as possible for this service to work. We have also decreased the number of tables to allow greater separation and brought in some extra gas heaters as it has started to cool down at night. While wed love to see you at Bradys, we do ask that if you feel anyway unwell, please stay at home.

From Thursday our maximum booking will increase to 20 people, which will be spread across two neighbouring tables. This is to ensure the comfort, safety and best service to all of our customers.... We still ask that you follow the directions of staff, to help keep us a Covid Safe venue.
