25.01.2022 The Boorowa Xmas Spending Spree is now closed. The draw takes place on Saturday 19th (tomorrow), at the Court House gardens, with Rotary Markets. There is FREE face painting for children between 10.00am and Noon. Plus a free sausage sizzle provided by Rotary for the kids. So come along to the draw at 11.00am tomorrow.

I would like to thank on behalf of the Boorowa Business Chamber (BBC), the Executive Committee for their hard work and input, especially Kerrie Dansey, who pulled together a lot of the businesses. Hilltops Council came to the fore this year, which was of significant benefit to our community and that of Hilltops by supplying a $5,000 Grant, to provide for radio advertising and the printed material in posters and entry tickets, produced by Frank O’Reilly’s printing in Young. Radio 2LF and Roccy FM also gave us a lot of advertising and support over the campaign. I would especially like to thank all of the participating businesses in Boorowa, for their support during this year’s Spending Spree campaign. It is outstanding that a small community like Boorowa can raise so much interest from our businesses. Without the support of our local businesses, this type of event would not be possible or not as successful as it has been. We hope we can make next year’s campaign just as big with the same level of enthusiasm from our business community. See more

23.01.2022 The Mobile Covid-19 Test Clinic will be in Boorowa at the Hospital between 9.45am and 11.00 on Wednesday 15 July 2020. If you have any symptoms, please get tested. These include runny nose, fever, dry cough, sore throat stuffy nose or shortness of breath. You can make a booking by calling 1800831099 or just turn up at the hospital on Wednesday. Remember you will have to self isolate until you receive the results which should be available with 24-48 hours. Thanks

Love Creations, Kerrie's Garden Nikity Nacks, Home Finch, Suki Fashion Boutique, Brae Neuk Pallet Furniture will be open for you to purchase Xmas Gifts. Enjoy a feed or a coffee at Chelle's Kitchen, the Top Pub or the Courthouse Hotel. The kids can have their face painted by Shell's Shenanigans. Santa will call in at 6.30 until 7.30. 19.01.2022 I brought these vintage cast iron lace segments/pieces back from Tasmania a few years back. We shall have them in the shop from tomorrow for sale. There are 12 pieces of straight lace and two ends.

18.01.2022 The Boorowa Business Chamber is holding it's regular meeting and AGM on Monday 6th July at 7.00pm at the Boorowa Hotel/Top Pub. All Business Chamber members and members of the community are invited. It would be appreciated if as many as possible Boorowa Business Chamber members can attend and members of the community, so we can gather concerns of business owners and those of the community to focus on during the coming year.

The table is approx 1.1m long x approx 780mm deep and 900mm high, Stained in external stain and varnish. Charcoal in colour. Only one available in the shop from tomorrow morning. Open Friday to Sunday 9 till 4.

Call in and have a look this long weekend. Open Sat, Sun and Mon 9-4. call into Chelle's Café next door and grab yourself a coffee then come on in for a stroll.

08.01.2022 Got to go out of town today and erect a sign for a valued customer. I don’t know how far out of town we were but it felt like 26.72kms

07.01.2022 Karen will have the shop open from tomorrow until and including Monday because of the long weekend. We have a number of new items for sale. The wood box was made this week. It is sanded, on castors, 950mm wide x 650mm deep and 650mm high. It is a nice size box for wood or anything else you may like. Cost $200. It shall be at the shop from tomorrow morning. I also make other boxes at various sizes made to order.

06.01.2022 Hi all, we are having a 30% sale on some of Daniels hand made cushions at the shop this weekend, so call in and grab a bargain. Daniel has also just finished a retro chair which is for sale.
