24.01.2022 Braedan and I have been crazily busy painting a stencil on the patio and pathway. We first started with a roller but that was a disaster, so we then tried a foam roller (apparently different to a normal paint roller) yeah nope...so we then tried a foam brush, still no. Then Braedan had a brainstorm and tried to spray paint it, and it blew us away compared to the other 3! So far it has taken 4 full days and a few hours here and there, and we're still not finished But it has definitely made us appreciate it a whole lot more, and we can't wait for it to be finished!
22.01.2022 We brought all of our pickets from a second place, we had to sand, putty all of the holes, sand again and then paint 3 base coats! It was tough job!
11.01.2022 Our new poles are in! Phew! It was a bigger job than we expected We replaced the old red round poles that had 10 layers of different coloured paint with new black square poles.
11.01.2022 We also got to give our frangipani tree a new home, it is doing well and healthy from it's move from the pot!
01.01.2022 We put a solar light above our letterbox so no one can miss our house now!
