20.01.2022 UPDATE FOR TERM 3 We are in the process of securing a new venue for term 3, which will allow us to have full classes and room for parents, while adhering to covid social distancing. We apologise for the delay in the start to term 3, but this option is going to be much more beneficial to all staff, children and parents. We are working hard on get our covid safe plan ready and our timetable out to you all and endeavour to do so by the end of the week! 16.01.2022 Dear families, I do hope that you are well and are in good health as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) makes its way through our beautiful country, states and local communities. It is with great sadness, in light of recent instructions from our Government that non-essential services are to cease trade within the next 48 hours. Braidwood Dance Studio will be ceasing operation effective Monday March 23.... The club has closed its doors today and without a venue and the advised of social distancing, we feel dance classes are not an essential activity. Despite the love that I have for dance, our students and studio, the health and safety of our families and staff is of sheer importance to myself and is not something I would ever take lightly. Braidwood dance studio will be closed until further notice. Our doors will reopen when we have clear instruction that non-essential activities can recommence trade, and when we feel it is safe for our students to return to their happy place. As always, our communication with our valued families will be maintained and can assure you that we will keep you well informed of any studio updates over the coming weeks. Please ensure that you are a member of the Braidwood dance studio Facebook Group to keep up to date with additional information. We are looking into, creative, functional online options to create a dance studio within your very own lounge room. We will also be offering our adult fitness classes online. Please allow some time however for our staff to be able to create, film and set up online platforms to continue to provide quality content, to distribute to our families. I also ask in this hard time, if all invoices can be paid as swiftly as possible, so I can continue to pay for the outgoings for the studio, so we can re open smoothly when the time arrives, please do not forget to apply for your active and creative kids vouchers. Any credit for the remaining classes for this term will be passed on when we re open. I know that all families will be onboard and support my decision, as we all have the children’s and staff’s safety, health and best interest at heart. If you have any questions or concerns relating to the coming weeks and the merge of in studio classes to the virtual experience, please do not hesitate in contacting me.
