19.01.2022 Looking for a creative challenge to get stuck into these summer holidays? Why not channel your inner engineer by taking part in our Egg Drop Experiment! Use hou...sehold items and other props to design a 'car' or device to try to protect a raw egg or ‘passenger’ from a drop. For extra fun, have an adult or sibling record a video showing you creating your car, explaining the 'safety features' and performing the drops! Remember to share your video with us so we can showcase your work! 10.01.2022 Hey Venturers (15 and over), do you want to learn to scuba dive? I have arranged an Open Water Scuba course with Shellharbour Scuba with a special price of $30...0 for current Venturers. You would also have to buy a mask and snorkel, unless you have one suitable for scuba diving, or you can borrow one. The shop is offering a 40% discount on gear purchased during the course. Dates Feb 28th, March 14th, 28th. Deadline 14 Feb. Register early so you have time for the e-learning. There are only 2 more places available. If there is a lot of interest, I will organise an additional course. There is some e-learning you have to complete prior to the course, and then the practical part of the course takes 3 days (plus probably 1 more half day or evening for the test swims). Age limit is 15 because that is the minimum age to get a full open water certification. E1 form for this activity is attached with my contact details and information on how to register. See more

07.01.2022 Welcome back to Scouting everyone. We are excited to be back for Term one. First night back is Thursday 4th Feb.... Joeys (ages 5-7) 5 to 6pm Cubs (ages 8-11) 6.15 to 7.30pm Scouts (ages 12-14) 6.30 to 8pm Venturers (ages 15-17) 6.30 to 8pm Our COVID Safe plan is still in place, complete with a new QR code to sign in!!! All girls and boys are welcome to attend, come on down with your kids if they are interested in Scouts.
