Right now, across the country, people with disabilities and carers are struggling to put food on the table. Even whilst working full time jobs, with such an extraordinary cost of living and no support, every day can be a struggle. The current Disabilities Support Payment is not sufficient to support any one's livelihood. In fact, it is below the poverty line. We’d love to hear from you what your lived experience has been like as a person with disabilitiy as well as whether you think the DSP should be raised and why. As part of the #raisetheDSP campaign, we are sharing stories of the disabled community to hold the government accountable for their actions.
