24.01.2022 BRAINSWIM is back in 2016. This year we are partnering with Masters Swimming NSW and we have raised the stakes in terms of our fundraising goal. So save the date NOW and get your teams together - 20 November 2016!

24.01.2022 November last year, Brain Swim raised a whopping $38,000. This would not have happened without the outstanding efforts from Ryan Churchill and The Mystery Misfits. Companies like Fulton Hogan need supreme recognition for the compassion and support they give the community. Thank you sincerely!!!

23.01.2022 Current total raised stands at $7658.95 for BrainSwim 2016! Our leading team is Greenwich Grey Matters, who have raised $4206 so far on Everyday hero. A very big thank you to all of you who helped out yesterday. In particular, Jon Bolton for co organising this event. Masters swimming for an outstanding participation of 35 serious swimmers who awed the crowd! Nola Pittorino for organising and running the cake stall that raised $624 (our most successful fun day stall) and for ...bringing Sam Joole to the party! David Quirk for tirelessly cooking sausages with his troops running around the crowd to sell them. Inna Kosogovska for dealing with all the registrants and the money! Michelle Forrest for manning the registration desk with Inna. Alisha Karunagaran for being the chief photographer. And Felicity Coonan for designing our new Logo. Priyanka, Ashan, Roshan, Jackson, Kavi, Ali and Maya for all the heavy lifting yesterday! It is very tough organising these events whilst also being a Neurosurgeon looking after patients with Brain Cancer. But without the funding for better research, there is a very finite limit to what I can offer my patients. So although the event is over, please don't forget to donate either via the BrainSwim website or support one of the teams on Everyday Hero. A huge thank you to those at the LaneCove Aquatic centre for donating the facilities and to all the participants without whom this event could never happen!! 17.01.2022 WOO HOO the Mystery Misfits have cracked $10,000 in sponsorship and donations and it looks like their total will be around $12,000 by Sunday. That is one Super Fantastic fundraising effort. We will be cheering for you on Sunday.

15.01.2022 Save the date for Brainswim - 20 November 2016. Let us know if you if you are coming or thinking of coming. It's for all ages and all abilities. You can swim as few or as many laps as you like. You can do it by yourself or in a team.

14.01.2022 This is Jake our first ever BrainSwim swimmer, in the pool on Sunday before 7am. He promised to play paintball in Budgy Smugglers if he raised $1000. And guess what? He raised $1380!! Be sure to send us that video Jake! Budgy Smuggler

12.01.2022 And they are off.... it's not even 7.15 yet, and we've already nailed our first swim. Jake from NSW South Coast has hit the pool, swum his 1 km and exceeded his $500 fundraising goal. With more than $800 banked for Brain Cancer Research Jake has kicked our day off to a great start. Like many of today's swimmers, Jake's family and friends have been affected by Brain Cancer, so he's swimming with real commitment. Thanks for being part of BrainSwim Jake.

Wonderful music, delicious sausages, elite swimming, lashings of fake tan, stunning face painting, remarkable bearded swimmers, creative fundraisers, energetic children, scrummy cakes, insightful fortune telling and an over abundance of good humour, family bonding and absolutely no shortage of sunshine.
