16.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who watched my live stream today. After recapping the Centris 610, I gave the board a good clean, then replaced the 20MHz 68LC040 with a 25MHz 68040 CPU, as well as replacing the 10MHz oscillator with an 12.5MHz oscillator, to utilise the clock speed of the new CPU. So now my Centris 610 has been upgraded to a Quadra 610, and look at those benchmark results!

16.01.2022 For those who watched my Amiga 1200 live stream yesterday, I was able to confirm that the computer is producing a nice RGB signal, but nothing from the composite output - a very common problem with this model. Thankfully, I know a fix for that! https://youtu.be/e2QI1_YjQSo

14.01.2022 For anyone struggling with the cost or availability of the 523 (V21PX) 4.5V PRAM battery for the Macintosh 128K, 512K or Plus, I will be selling these nifty little converters very soon. They house 3 x LR44 1.5V batteries in a convenient little cylinder, exactly the same size as the original batteries. Your vintage Mac need never lose time again!

04.01.2022 For those who caught my Macintosh IIfx recapping video a couple of weeks ago, finally some joy! It turns out that that the ROM SIMM was badly corroded and unable to be repaired (yet) so I put in a BMOW Rominator II (replacement ROM), and ta-dah, away she went! There was a small amount of trace damage around the power button that needed to be repaired, but other than that, it was a pretty straightforward recapping job. Another one saved!

04.01.2022 My trusty thermal camera was a big help today while repairing a 2013 MacBook Air. This little buck converter was running suspiciously hot, and sure enough after replacing it, the MacBook Air came back to life!
