22.01.2022 Here's a sneak peak into what Baxter Primary School's new building will look like. The $2.5 million facility will offer students new classrooms, amenities and a... general purpose area. 20.01.2022 One of the key aims of Highton Child and Family Centre was to be a welcoming and comfortable place for children and families, which included catering for children with differing abilities and needs. As some children require calmer environments, the focus was on creating a warm, earthy interior with some bright colour nodes, to inform the activity in and identity of the space, without being overwhelming. The addition of child-height peek-a-boo windows also invites children to interact in a space especially suited to their size.

01.01.2022 At the heart of Fraser Rise, the City Vista Sports Precinct is a key new piece of community infrastructure by the Melton City Council. The precinct features a new sports pavilion, an elite turf pitch (designed to National Premier League Standards), community grass pitch and two synthetic pitches. This is a major regional facility which can draw people in the hundreds as already evidenced by the success of George Cross FC. The facility is the temporary home for Western United ...FC who are using the facility until permanent facilities are completed in Wyndham Vale. Both the Melton City Council and the Department of Education jointly contributed to the wider precinct master plan which incorporates Springside West Secondary College to the north. The result is a unique community based sports and learning precinct focused on providing opportunities for shared use and fostering a sense of community.
