17.01.2022 At this time when we are so aware of the importance of the work of doctors, nurses and healthcare workers to our community, those highlighted in our "Working fo...r Health" exhibition serve to demonstrate just some of the wide range of expertise of those working to help our health. There is an excellent film showing in the Education Room Medicine from the Bush which explores the historical significance of indigenous medicines. Did you know that witchetty grubs are not just tucker, but medicine too? The Australian healthcare system is first class, and many years ago, helping it get there was the Golden Casket. Learn all about it here and find your other favourites in the health team. Come and visit Working for Health at the Australian Workers Heritage Centre soon.

17.01.2022 Here is our latest project the Boondall Wetland environment Centre. Full of fun engaging things for the whole family, and you might just learn something too. Previously we had designed a bird flight interactive for the Karawatha Forest Visitor Centre that had proved to entertain so we did it again and made it bigger and better for Brisbanes premier environment centre. #brisbanecitycouncil #bcc #boondallwetlands #econnect #linkinteractive #seeaustralia #designinstituteofaustralia #interpretaionaustrailia

08.01.2022 RFDS Display The Queen Air aircraft was built in 1977 and flew for the Flying Doctor in Queensland between 1978 and 1992. The model on display is the last of t...he piston engines, which is no longer in operation at the RFDS. The suspended Queen Air leaves a legacy for future generations in the RFDS Gallery, which is devoted to the history of the RFDS, and the workings of the service in the 21st Century. The stunning display gives an interesting and impactful visual representation of how significant the RFDS service has been in Australias history for helping rural and regional pastoralists. The RFDS has allowed them to live and farm in isolated communities, knowing that medical help is only a plane ride away. #brandiprojects #stockmanshalloffame #longreach #visitqueensland #australia #RFDS #isolatedcommunities
