12.01.2022 #funfactsaboutjulie - I freaking LOVE Nick Cave! That's actually TWO Nick Caves that I love - 1. Nick Cave the musician - https://youtu.be/8ELpzmNeS4M... I started listening in the early 80s, and have a tonne of albums including Junkyard from 1982... 2. Nick Cave the artist and dancer - who I only discovered about 5 or 6 years ago - what utterly fabulous artworks! Probably most well-known for his soundsuits. 10.01.2022 #websitetechtips #SEOtips SEO isn't simple. It's not just a plugin you put on your site (although if you have a solid SEO strategy, then a good plugin like Yoast or RankMath will absolutely help). SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) comes from thoroughly understanding your target market and knowing exactly what they're looking for. Then, using that information to figure out your keywords, and then including those words and their variations across your site (in your articles, i...n your image titles and tags). But SEO is not just about keywords either! It's ALSO affected by your site's speed, and other factors that prove to Google that you're authoritative in your field and people want to hear what you have to say. So, if someone offers you a one-off solution, then they're rubbish. Run a mile! DO dig into your target market and talk to them about what they're searching for, and then use those words to guide what you write about, and then write about that. And do educate yourself about the simple things you can do to make your site more SEO-worthy - eg. optimise your images, include links to other authoritative articles in your field, and write things your target market want to read.
