24.01.2022 Look anyone who has been married can probably tell you, engagement isn't the be all and end all. Like it's nice, it shows your commitment and it is a massive step... but... it's not the ultimate is it? The same goes for your social media engagement stats... just over a week ago, I posted a very personal video about my recent molar pregnancy. Yes it had some alright engagement. But here's the thing... the engagement I have had from it outside of Facebook has been massive! Frie...nds, family, family friends have all contacted me or when they've seen me brought up the video. These people have not neccesarily engaged online but they HAVE seen the video. They HAVE taken the next step even in contacting me. So next time you're feeling like you're busting your a and the stats just aren't happenin think of this and keep posting! Keep showing the real you! 22.01.2022 I had to give out some tough love today to one of our amazing clients who told me they are too old to do their Facebook page... Your followers don't expect you to be perfect! They just want to see you and interact with YOU. It doesn't take much to post a photo or quote you have saved. If you can do it on your regular Facebook you can do it on your business page. After our talk she posted a photo, before I even got it up (and I was looking for it) she already had likes on the post!! Likes that have been steadily growing all day. 05.01.2022 This afternoon we took some time off from our home learning to have some family time at Nudgee Beach, Queensland. Watching my kids playing under this most amazing rain cloud (that we got caught by) with the sun shining through made me stop and think of another Mum, who should also be watching her kids play on the beach. Small Steps 4 Hannah is a charitable organisation dedicated to driving change for victims of domestic violence in memory of Hannah, Aaliyah, Laianah & Trey. Today they ask to us all to participate in a tribute and share a photo of something that makes you happy incorporating the acronym HALT. I am struggling to find the words to accurately express the way I felt today taking this photo, the mix of gratitude and sorrow; much like the storm cloud and the sunshine’s rays shining through. #HALTdv
