25.01.2022 #this when your teams kids share your message

25.01.2022 Dont we love in the most beautiful part of the world!

24.01.2022 The team working on their power this morning. Exercises such as dead ball slams develop type II or fast twitch muscle fibres. There is a purpose to every exercise in the BNM Lean & Strong program and its not just about making the crew sweaty

22.01.2022 This is why every session at BNM is coached. Halfway up this lift Shane doubted himself, he went to lower the bar until he was "encouraged" to lft it up. In the end he lifted the 170kg a new PB a huge increase from his last PB. If you want results regardless if they are strength, weight loss, body composition or just feeling better, Its easier having a coach.

22.01.2022 Getting it done FriYay

22.01.2022 Ripping into the Saturday morning Strongman session

21.01.2022 Do you know what intention looks like? Youre watching it right now..

20.01.2022 What you eat determines how much you weigh. How you train determines what you look like.

20.01.2022 Springs here. Suns out guns out singlets on and personal bests

20.01.2022 Improved flexibility is just one of the many benefits of strength training

19.01.2022 Having a holistic approach to health and fitness involves looking at sleep, stress levels, gut health, recovery and nutrition. If you’re only focus is on your workouts or weight loss you are missing the big picture to optimal performance.

18.01.2022 What could you achieve if you dedicate yourself to becoming your best?

18.01.2022 @rich.bolt unleashing the inner beast at this mornings session. 150kg split stance deadlift Richard Bolt

18.01.2022 Following a structured resistance training program has so many benefits for women besides the aesthetics of toning and fat loss.

18.01.2022 Rich ripping in

17.01.2022 These are just tools. its the coaching that uses these tools to create the bodies and achieve the goals of our clients. Having the best ingredients doesnt make the dish but in the hands of a master chef amazing things happen.

17.01.2022 Programmed resistance training following the principles of progressive overload should be a part of every women’s exercise routine. Aside from the aesthetic benefits resistance training improves bone mineral density, boosts the immune system, improves insulin sensuality preventing type II diabetes, stops muscle wastage and speeds up your metabolism. However many women feel unsure about weight training which is why at BNM our sessions are small groups with experienced strength coaches who specialise at introducing newbies to weight training.

16.01.2022 It’s the coaching and focus on optimal performance not the scales that sets BNM apart.

15.01.2022 Another week to make your own! How have you prepared yourself?

15.01.2022 85% of women will have a baby at some point in their life and with over 70% of BNM members being women it helps to be able to provide evidence based exercise guidelines supported by the RANZCOG, ACOG, and RCOG to our female members. An ongoing body of literature has shown that regular, moderate level exercise during pregnancy has positive benefits including reduced fat deposition and retention, shorter and less complicated labors, and a more rapid recovery postpartum. In add...ition, women who exercise during and after pregnancy tend to have greater energy levels, tolerate physiological and psychological stresses better, and report fewer physical complaints. Most important, research on pregnancy and exercise has found no adverse short- or long-term fetal or maternal problems associated with regular exercise in an uncomplicated pregnancy.

15.01.2022 Training is just the stimulus for adaptation. What you do to recover and repair afterwards will determine the outcome.

14.01.2022 The BNM team getting in their final session of 2020. Finishing with a nice conditioning AMRAP . Happy New Year team.

14.01.2022 Floor presses are one of the top 5 accessory lifts to improve a persons bench press. Why is that important? Because most people struggle to do a push-up or get up off the floor. Does your current training modality focus on strength & human performance or jumping around to burn calories? Both burn calories but only one makes you stronger.

14.01.2022 At BNM we want to help our crew recover and perform better not just train them. Foam rolling breaks up adhesions, reduces stiffness, increases blood flow, reduces tissue tension and soreness leading to improved recovery and performance. Recovery is just one part of BNMs holistic approach to human health & performance.

13.01.2022 At BNM we never stop learning from the industry’s leading evidence based coaches. Knowledge that provides our members with the most effective training possible to achieve their goals. We call it training with purpose, who doesn’t want a great looking butt

13.01.2022 The team working through their snatch grip deadlifts and explosive landmine moves. Saturday morning Strongman

13.01.2022 We ask a lot of our crew and they always rise to the challenge. Weight training is as much a challenge in self belief as it is physical. Shouldnt all your workouts show you what you are capable of?

12.01.2022 Barbell back squats, one of those exercises that are as much a mental challenge as they are physical

12.01.2022 Whats for lunch?

12.01.2022 Shane takes the honours with a 190kg lift

12.01.2022 Athletic performance matters regardless of the sport you play. BNM is a structured Strength & Conditioning program to improve human performance, even if that is kicking or throwing a ball with the kids.

12.01.2022 The prowler sled is a great apparatus for training legs, butt and core improving our athletes ability to accelerate in all directions

12.01.2022 Swinging into the BNM Fri Yay session

11.01.2022 All set for Our BNM Strongman session, 7am Saturday morning. The session that challenges you to move heavy objects around regardless of your current fitness level. The ultimate functional training modality.

10.01.2022 Our coaches work a week ahead of the planned programming. Theres no guess work when our members come in. We believe in progressive overload to keep our bodies developing strength and muscle.

10.01.2022 Clair joins the 100kg club

09.01.2022 Strength is earned not given

08.01.2022 Merry Christmas from the BNM team

08.01.2022 Michelle hitting a new PD

07.01.2022 It’s been an amazing week with an amazing team and community. Feeling blessed

07.01.2022 There is more to a transformation than just losing fat and building muscle. What you cant see in the photo is the increased confidence and self belief. The knowledge that you are capable of pushing yourself more because you can trust in your own abilities. You develop a greater level of self care and become a role model for your children. You learn to trust and appreciate your body more with every workout.... Transformations happen when you match the right training with great coaching and surround yourself with a supportive community.

06.01.2022 Always a fun finisher to the BNM Strongman sessionS

05.01.2022 Effective back training helps improve posture and scapula control to minimise shoulder problems.

05.01.2022 How do you improve at something? You make the decision to do the work. @gabbybarrington made an agreement with herself to do the bike at least once a week. You just have to start

04.01.2022 Everything we program at BNM has a purpose. Banded crab walks alone won’t tone up your glutes but they sure will get them ready for a heavy squat session that will strengthen and tone them up.

04.01.2022 Strength training makes you harder to kill.. Strength training also helps you move better, builds self confidence, improves insulin sensitivity (eat those carbs) and improves body composition. BNM coaches deliver every session, weve put the personal back into small group personal training.

03.01.2022 Two of our local Drs leading by example as they work through their sets to stay strong and healthy.

03.01.2022 We provide the tools and direction, we just ask for your effort. YOUR effort, the important thing here is we train along side others, yes they will motivate you and push you. Its what you put in to it that will get you to where you want to be.

02.01.2022 More testing week highlights of our awesome team.

02.01.2022 This is why the BNM Lean & Strong program is based on strength training. Not only does strength training help you look great but it could help you live longer. https://www.facebook.com/abclifeau/videos/2055997117767254/

01.01.2022 No getting away from it - 20 second efforts HURT

01.01.2022 Have you ever tried rice paper spring rolls? Simple to make with any filling you like, they are perfect for lunches or on the run snacks. These little parcels of goodness never last long at our house.

01.01.2022 The four primary benefits from strengthening the gluteal muscles: Postural improvement Injury and pain prevention Increased athleticism, strength and power Physique improvements... It’s why strengthening the glutes is a major component of the BNM Lean & Strong program.
